Russia isn't close to the top threat to the US. China is a far greater threat.
The Russian military is spent, it has no navy beyond a few subs, its Airforce is impotent, and its army is simply inept and out of the equipment required to wage war against Europe, NATO, or the US. Ukraine is unfortunate to be a next-door neighbor, because Russia lacks the capacity to project power beyond its immediate borders.

Russia's use of ballistic missiles that Ukraine can't shoot down is doing serious damage to Ukraine and the coming winter will be brutal for Ukraine.
Ukraine needs to accelerate its attacks on Russia's infrastructure and economy. They have to force Russia to the negotiating table as soon as possible. Zelensky said this exact thing earlier this year.
With the frontlines stalemated, this has turned into a war of long range strikes via drone and missile.

In a year or two the Russian economic damage or Ukriane's manpower issues will be so bad that it won't matter even if that's true.

It's wild how drastically the tone of Ukranians has shifted in the past two weeks.

Russia is taking fortress cities, turning the economic screws, and is about to mobilize, all while Ukriane is out of interceptors.
They've had an awesome poker face in some tough situations previously. They must be very worried.

Shadow fleet hunting in the Black Sea. Pantsir AA missiles are close but no cigar.

The solution to the threat of Russian missiles is offensive, not defensive. While Ukraine could attempt to shoot down as many missiles as possible, it is obviously more cost-effective to prevent them from being launched from Russia in the first place.
With winter approaching, this is a priority if Kyiv want to avoid widespread power outages and the disconnection of its nuclear power plants...

All of these are within drone range right now. Why haven\t they been hit? Well, I have to think the Ukrainians are trying but haven't been able to get through the AA successfully yet. The Liutyis are probably too slow.
Thus the critical need of the FP-5 Flamingo and FP-9 missiles. The FP-5 is in use, the FP-9 is in engine testing but has been fired already. Both have the range to hit Moscow, the FP-5 has the range to hit Votkinsk and Yelabuga.

Naphtha reformers are chrome moly vessels with bed of catalyst ffor upgrading feed into high octane reformate. Hydrogen is a byproduct used to desulfurize incoming heavy naphtha, excess used to desulfurize diesel and if enough to isomerize light naphtha. Interesting that I have seen ONE naphtha reformer which was a furnace full of catalyst packed tubes similar to a SMR. Howe Baker technology in Dominica Republic adjacent to a nickel mine. The little refinery was there for heavy fuel oil for the power plant. The "gasoline" was sold down the mountain for distribution. Everything rusted with trees growing INSIDE the furnace.
