So now we have tiny Belgium seizing Russia's shadow fleet tankers:
Reuters: Belgium seizes suspected Russia Shadow Fleet Tanker
Keep in mind, this is the same country that whose government has been threatened should they seize frozen Russian assets that lay in their banks.
If Belgium seizing Russian tankers, you know it's on.

My "maybe Z should be a little smarter about the things he says at times" take wasn't too popular but it applies again here.

ATACMS look to be available. We used PRISM on Iran, which were more accurate.

Another politician taking a page out of Trump's playbook, which does work. Inflate everything multiple times, and those who want to believe will believe.
In the end, all the land controlled numbers can vary widely based on how you count the gray zone. Especially in the last 2 years, I have seen both sides claim it depending on their current messaging.

Young 20ish of age were complaining about this 26 years ago when my son was there in college at Uni Graz. They called all brown skinned people, Turks.

Ukraine counterattacks impacting Russia on several fronts. Ukraine helping US. Putin helping Iran. Where are the Rybald maps? ISW Ukraine counters
quote:
Key Takeaways
Ukrainian forces are successfully counterattacking not only in the Oleksandrivka and Hulyaipole directions but also in western Zaporizhia Oblast.
These counterattacks are generating tactical, operational and strategic effects that may disrupt Russia’s Spring-Summer 2026 offensive campaign plan.
The Russian command likely hoped that Russian advances in the Hulyaipole direction would complement Russian advances near Orikhiv, which would in turn enable Russian forces to advance toward Orikhiv from the east and west and later enable advances toward Zaporizhzhia City itself. Russian forces are thus facing a far more difficult battlefield situation in southern Ukraine in early March than they did at the start of 2026.
The counterattacks in southern Ukraine are also having strategic effects in other parts of the theater. The cascading effects that the Ukrainian counterattacks in the Oleksandrivka, Hulyaipole, and Zaporizhia directions have generated in other sectors of the front show how constrained the Russian force structure in Ukraine really is.
Ukrainian interceptor drones and personnel with experience downing Shahed drones are helping protect US military infrastructure in the Middle East.
Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to support the Iranian regime while predictably taking advantage of the conflict in the Middle East to engage in energy blackmail.
Ukrainian forces have been intensifying their long-range strike campaign against Russian military assets in occupied Crimea over the past month.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Kupyansk, in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area, near Hulyaipole, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast.
Ukrainian forces reportedly struck a chemical plant in Russia. Russian forces launched two missiles and 197 drones against Kharkiv, Kherson, Poltava, Odesa, and Zaporizhia oblasts.

This interview was with the actual Minister of Information in Donetsk and was broadcast on Russian TV. And all three of them keep smiling the whole time.

Once the Kremlin loses control of the narrative...
quote:
Amid excited congratulations on four years of the war in Ukraine, the "Minister of Information" of the "Donetsk People's Republic" appears on Russian television, explaining that the invasion has gone horribly wrong not only because Ukraine has technology surpassing that of Russia, but that the Russian army is now in chaos due to criminality and officers' love of humiliating underlings that has removed their will to fight.
Bezonov also explains that in the early days of the war, everyone thought that there was a plan, and that secret space age weapons would soon save them.

Merops is NOT Ukrainian, it was developed by a California company. It was first used in Ukraine as real life testing was available there.

All that you want to know about the big new drone / weapons facilities at the Yelabuga site. Every question answered except the biggest one - Being only 1300km from Ukraine, why is it still standing?

The Yelabuga UAV Factory in Russia is a real-world example of the deepening collaboration between the so-called CRINK countries of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
The factory allegedly uses:
- Iranian designs & tech
- Chinese dual-use components, supply chains and logistics
- North Korean labor
Since late 2021, it has expanded from two buildings under construction to a 17-facility complex comprising up to 116 buildings, encompassing over 2,820,000 square meters of space (2,82 km2), and 67 finished housing units that could house approximately 20,000 workers.

Definitely California finance and initial design but with Ukrainain development. Being described as a 'Ukrainian anti-drone'. Hard to tell though as this startup has avoided the press like the plague, so it may be a conscious decision to avoid the word 'California'.
However, application in the ME is certainly for further development and.. oh yeah... marketing. How long until we see Toyota Dubai offering them as factory options for their 4X4's? Hell, I'd get two. May need them for the drive to the Ole Miss game this September.

This venture started out as part of Swift Boats Holdings, then became White Stork, LLC It precedes 2022 back to his time on National Security Advisory group during Trump's first term. White Stork was changed to Project Eagle.

At this point it's hard to flow chart where Merops, Fire Point, the CIA, and Anduril begin and where the others end. It's all kind of a ball of yarn.
But I know a guy who knows a guy whose friend's brother's cousin works for one of the above mentioned companies at an office here in the US. And he's talking to a new hire with a funny accent. Sounds Eastern European.
"So, where are you from?"
"Jersey"
"Oh, ok, gotcha."

Ukraine's General Staff releases footage of Storm Shadow strike on Bryansk plant in Russia
Oleksandr Shumilin — 10 March, 20:17
General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed that Storm Shadow air-launched missiles struck the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk.
Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social media
Quote: "As part of a systematic effort to reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine's defence forces carried out successful strikes with Storm Shadow air-launched missiles on the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk.
Kremniy El is a critically important link in the production chain of Russia's high-precision weapons. The plant specialises in discrete semiconductor devices and integrated microchips, which are the brains and nervous system of modern weapons, including Iskander missiles."
Details: The General Staff also released a video showing several missiles hitting the plant workshop.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking to journalists, said that Ukraine has struck production facilities in Bryansk, Russia.
