That's the party room in Zhelensky's villa in Italy. I'm certain the band is Italian.

Im sure there was still nightlife in every society right up until the end. I went deep down a rabbit hole one time about the french night club scene throughout ww2 and occupation.

People always find a way to party. The internet can distort it but its nothing new.

Sure as heck happened in the US during WWII. I have a photo of my dad partying with his younger brother and two of Uncle John's fellow P-38 pilots in San Francisco. All trying to score a brunette. The pilots all went to Europe after,.while dad went to the Bering Straits

Poland should know that better than any sources you are paying attention to

I think that it’s obvious Russia can’t stop unless Ukraine surrenders.

That said, I am exactly 0% grateful for a country that is merely defending itself while we finance and arm their defense.

You realize this is BS, right? I'm guessing not, else you wouldn't have posted it.

We aren't financing anything anymore. In fact, we're profiting directly off it while the Europeans and Russians finance it. Again - the United States under the Trump administration is giving them 0 in aid - nothing, nada, zip. We are, however, selling them weapons, with weapons manufacturers making billions off of their suffering.

Furthermore, the Russians have repeated stated that this war is against a Unipolar world, one the US runs and benefits from. They have complained ad nauseum that this is a war against NATO and said on a number of occasions that our allies - countries we made an agreement to come to the aid of should they be attacked - are next on the list. So, there is every conceivable reason to believe that the lives of American servicemembers are being spared because the Ukrainians chose not to just give up and give in to the Russians.

So while you are correct to state that the Ukrainians are fighting for their own survival, and not for the 'good of the world,' that doesn't change a damn thing.

Thank God.

I was worried the Russians might actually try to learn how to fight a war.

The fact that there was a narrative that the US wanted Kyiv to hold elections.

What narrative???? Trump has REPEATEDLY told the Ukrainians to hold elections:

Trump tells the Ukrainians to hold Elections

This is, of course, a part of a broader campaign by our government to pressure the Ukrainians into a BS 'deal' with the Russians.

My guess is that Z wants to get it over with for multiple reasons:

1) Right now, polling indicates that two things the Ukrainians agree on is that Z is the leader of Ukraine and that they don't want to give up any territory, and
2) It calls Trumps bluff and changes topics.

Smart political move, again, by Z.

But damn, ya'll.

narrative....*snort*

The narrative that Russia has pushed is that Zekensky is the illegitimate leader of Ukraine. That the US put him in office and that if there were elections he’d be ousted.

They have been pushing that for years.

It's easier to understand these movements by recognizing that from the Russians, the term 'false report' is a redundancy. Every. Time. That's why they're making the report. They have no interest in distributing the truth about anything. Even if they knew what it was.

The last thing the Chinese want is a Russian recovery. They will stretch this party out until they own everything in Russia worth owning. Only when we see Chinese 'management' of everything, including the port of Kaliningrad, will we see the Chinese get serious about peace.

This winter weather is messing with our Bavovnas. All we get now is post-attack satellite photos.

Payment to the imperialistic Trotskyite judges failed due to illegal Western sanctions on SWIFT transfers.
quote:

Not so fun fact, the organizers of the games were so unprepared for a Ukrainian to win gold that the ceremony was delayed for an hour. They initially hung the Ukrainian flag upside down and realized they didn't even have a recording of the national anthem. After Ukrainian team refusing offers to play the russian or soviet anthem instead (!!!), a Ukrainian team official had to rush back to the Olympic Village to retrieve a recording found in the bag of fellow skater Liudmyla Mykhailovska for the Ukrainian anthem to be played.
