Ukraine seeing some success counterattacking in western as well as eastern Zapo now. That will pin the Russians down there and cause some problems for them I think.

Tak, miy shanuval'nyk Tyhra. Ukraine liberated more territory last week than it did during its entire 2023 counteroffensive.

Losing the road junction at Hulyaipole is going to hurt the Ruskies. The TO401 is the best road for Russia to move units along that part of the front line. In addition to Russia losing a supply route, it could provide a chance for Ukraine to roll up behind the Russian positions just north of Hulyaipole which would force Russia to abandon ground it has held for almost 4 years.

Did Pokrovsk enjoy it's week or two of being important again?

As Ukraine enjoys success in Zaporizhia, it appears that Russia is continuing to close the vice on Kostyantynivka

I'm saying it's been under Russian control more often than it hasn't been for a few months now even according to the credible mappers, whatever way you want to define that.

That southern end of the vice doesn't appear to have moved a whole lot, but I'd have to see some side by sides to know for sure

The most credible report that I read last week was that the Ukes were holding on by their fingernails in the Northern fringes.

Pretty sure that Pokrovsk has been important for the past 560 days or however long the battle has been going on.

Holding onto the northern fringes.... So you're saying they lost it in simpler terms

No, you reported they lost it right? At least I thought that’s what you said.

Reads like a puff piece for Ukraine and the author is biased.

Croatia suspended all Russian oil supplies from its main terminal port at Adriatic coast in Krk to Hungary.

Croatian Economy Minister Ante Šušnjar says that he is willing to allow oil supplies to Hungary, if it originates from countries other than Russia.

This is huge. Orban is straight fricked. His only way out is the suspend the election due to violence. Which is a legitimate possibility when Putin is threatened with losing control of his sole contrary EU vote.

Clueless. Absolutely clueless. Either that or they are really trying to derail Orban's campaign. A TACO endorsement in Europe is not what the White House thinks it is.

Ukraine has created a separate international F 16 squadron within its Air Force, Intelligence Online reports. The unit includes Ukrainian and foreign pilots, among them veterans from the United States and the Netherlands. It was reportedly formed in secrecy to strengthen air defense over Kyiv and the region. According to the publication, the squadron conducts near daily combat duty, intercepting Kalibr and Kh-101 cruise missiles as well as attack drones, often during night patrols.

Sometimes words are not needed.

Politico published symbolic awards following the Munich Security Conference, naming EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas for Worst Poker Face. She was seen pressing her lips and puffing her cheeks as US UN ambassador Mike Waltz praised Washington for ending several wars. The reaction spread quickly online.

I am on a message board, I am not "reporting" anything, and no one else is either.

I shared that Russia controls the majority of the city and is advancing
