Exports of liquefied gas from Russia collapsed against the background of EU sanctions

Russia for the first six months of 2025 reduced exports of liquefied hydrocarbon gas (LPG) by 21.8% in annual terms - up to 1.3 million tons, calculated in the consulting company "OMT Consult" at the request of RBC [ROSBUSINOSSULTING]. The decline occurs against the background of EU sanctions, which finally entered into force on December 20, 2024.

I'll never understand why there are still civilians in sumy or any other area near the front lines or the border of Russia. I know there will be hold outs, just like with bad hurricanes, but dang...at some point over the past few years you think they would have had enough of rockets, artillery, and machine gun fire.

Some insight why I despise Putin:
I was working in Moscow two weeks after Yeltsin resigned as President which meant Putin ascended to the Presidency of Russia (he was Prime Minister at the time).
My first day back in the office in Moscow several Russian co-workers came to me explaining how terrified they were that Putin was now President.
They told me they fully expected Russia to revert to its Soviet days of arresting and murdering dissenters and holding faux elections.
It was also when one of my Russian co-workers corrected me when I described Putin as "former KGB."
She said, "There is no such thing as former KGB."
They were right you know...

I don’t have near the insight you do, but watching him operate I know that he’s cut from the same cloth as all the other Soviet leaders.

Senator Kennedy is wrong. zelensky has no wish to negotiate. He wants Russia to withdraw from land they have reclaimed for the Russian people, he wants reparations, and he wants NATO to protect him. Thats insanity not "willing to negotiate". Everything he wishes Russia already has. If he was willing to give up two more oblasts, including Odessa, then maybe that could be negotiated. But he has to bring something to the table other than rhetoric and "my big brother will protect me and sanction you", that isnt working nor will it.
