The judge and Austin Metcalf’s dad are friends. I’ve seen this one circulating on social media with no evidence to support it.

There's a reason we had to lower the classification for retardation to 70 or below, because the average for black people is 85.

I’d never read that before, it’s very disturbing.
The US military determined decades ago the threshold for being able to perform even menial duties is ~83.

So their “Metcalf was being a bully because he only axed KA 15 times to leave the Team Tent so that’s legal justification for murder” defense fell apart?

No chance, would be immediate recusal.

I posted the link, pal
Also, it's been confirmed multiple times by multiple studies. You can look it up.

He posted citations, I’m not saying that’s the only or best source for IQ data by demographic do you have counter data you’ve seen that contradicts it?

It is true. You don’t have to believe it.

the most surprising thing about this trial is that Anthony never brought up the "he called me the N word" defense. That one usually does the trick justifying murder.

That is why we have jurys and motions to recuse.

The only reason I can think of as to why they DIDN’T pull that card, is that they knew there were too many witnesses around to confirm that Austin never said it.
Like you said though…surprising they didn’t at least throw it out there, see if it would stick.

I think it's the fact that they have a public defender who is limited.
A better-funded law firm would have somehow magically found ways to create the narrative that Austin was a racist, even if he didn't say the N word.
They raised over $500K in the GoFundMe, but his parents blew it all, so they got stuck with a PD instead of being able to hire a law firm
If it all weren't so tragic, it could be the basis for an Adam Sandler film

The Anthony family didn’t get “stuck” with anything.
They were savvy enough to know that this prosecution case was so solid, $500k-$600k was never gonna buy Karmelo the defense he needed. Meanwhile, the PD office is funded by the taxpayers…so why NOT take advantage of that and just enjoy that money rolling in?
Now they have at least one basis for appeal: ineffective counsel. And appeals mean that more chumps will continue to throw more money at them, all in the interest of sticking it to YT.

I don’t think ineffective counsel claims will be successful considering the case was shite.
