That appeal is a loser. This case should have never gone to trial.

I don’t think ineffective counsel claims will be successful considering the case was shite.

I 100% agree. But I still think they’re gonna attempt it. Gotta milk that grift a little more.

I will reiterate this.

Karmelo has a completely capable lawyer who is not a public defender.

Its very hard to defend when there is quite literally no defense

Now they have at least one basis for appeal: ineffective counsel.

They’ll try this and the racial deal with the jury.

Both will fail miserably.

They didn’t get a single favorable point of testimony at trial. That is hard to to, ie never should have been tried.

Most legal observers I have seen have said that the defense did not even get enough evidence in to have a self defense charge put in the jury instructions, and that if the prosecution pushed that issue they would have a good chance of winning on that issue. However they believe that they won't push it and that the judge will allow it just for appeal purposes.

Actually the guy is supposedly one of the best in the area.

If you think about it, that is how shite their case was. They had to hope they could get a black person on the trial who could cause a mistrial.

I am unsure of the prosecution even posted a plea deal because their case is so strong.

The prosecutions witnesses sink any viable sold defense claim and from the sounds of things, the defense witnesses were so bad they might as well been for the prosecution.

I am assuming they start deliberations today and they wait till tomorrow to make it seem like they thought a bunch on our before they find him guilty.

This case really is a open and shut as the Rittenhouse case was except opposite. This guy is straight guilty.

Perhaps the family one he was going away and wanted him to enjoy himself a bit before he went away.

He should've tried to get a plea deal for a favorable sentence of 20 to 30 years.

But then his family couldn't have milked idiots for all the money they could and spend it on escalades if they had plead early.

Now with a conviction they can continue to do that. A plea would have ended all of that

They don't give a frick about Karmelo

well Austin's black friends weren't going to testify to that so it would have gone nowhere and probably backfired

Never underestimate a jury’s ability to frick it up.

It seems there is a sentiment shift among the psychos defending Anthony. Apparently, if you pick a fight with someone, you get to murder them in self defense and simply claim you felt threatened.
