May Landry and Murill crush these incompetent corrupt thieves running NOLA.

The language of that order, damn. The Supreme Court is not amused. Just how deep are the clowns in Orleans Parish going to dig this hole? A real reckoning is coming for that city.

? A real reckoning is coming for that city.“(Quote SR).
National Nullification is our future. For good and bad. Cities will claim a Constitutional Right to run their own business. Elections (muh Democracy) which determine the Congress and POTUS as well.

I was honestly hoping she’d take a ride down there with the Governor and see what happens…. I’m shocked the attention whore in Landry didn’t make it happen..

Anyone have a quick easy to catch-up run down of what's going on here?

New Orleans elects a guy in November
State legislature eliminates that office
New Orleans officials want the seat filled
State AG lists the consequences to filling the seat against the legislature’s law
City officials think being held accountable is racists
New Orleans DA recuses himself as they want the grand jury to indict state ag. Special prosecutor appointed
Grand jury indicts AG
Special prosecutor issues arrest warrant
State Supreme Court issues stay on indictment
Special prosecutor keeps arrest warrant active
State supreme court says “really dumbass?” And issues another order (we are here)

Geez louise. Thanks.
Only questions I'm left with, what position is it and why so important to go to these extremes for it? I'm sure corruption is in play.

They lemon the Clerk of Criminal District Court
I believe, I’m not 100%, every other parish in Louisiana just has a clerk of court. New Orleans had two, criminal and civil clerks.
It’s insanity that this has escalated. Local New Orleans officials jumped the shark over something so idiotic. Even the Louisiana Supreme Court upheld that the legislature had the power to merge the clerk offices.
Idiotic New Orleans is saying “will of the people elected this guy” so he needs to be seated in his office. When, the “will of the people” via the state legislature, of which, New Orleans is a part of, passed a law eliminating that office.

Orleans had separate criminal and civil clerks of courts. The legislature combined the 2 positions into 1 clerk of court position to bring it in line with every other local Louisiana government. NOLA is having a hissy fit because one of their money racket fiefdoms is being torn down
