Our elected officials really don't want young people to have jobs or to see wage increases that come with a competitive job market

This used to be a pillar of GOP politics. Cheap foreign labor is good for the GDP and therefore good for us.
Only recently have the geriatrics turned against this concept. And only because of cultural rot, not the broader economic pitfalls.

Big business wants those de facto slaves real bad. This has been true for a long time. Even the supposedly super racist 'Operation Wetback' from the 50's had a big element of this and was not nearly as sweeping as history prefers to remember.

Imagine the images that we've seen of food lines in communist countries.
This will happen in the US at this rate with the Dems.

The pathway should lead right back down to the border. Adios.

How about creating pathways for legacy Americans?
Am I asking for too much? The least our elected officials can do is just get out of the way.

Communists want those de facto slaves real bad too. In fact that is their sole purpose and that is to make everyone dependent on the state for their very existence.
Take your pick
hint - with your 'big business' scenario there is a way to work your way out of your current situation
with the communist scenario you are right where they want you and there is no way to get out without violence.

Yeah, and now they are having to support their Children and grandchildren monetarily it is not so great. The Boomers and older generation has messed up so much in this country...They screwed GenX and younger big time. Completely changed the country for the worst after they were handed every opportunity in the world to succeed.

A boomer will be here soon to tell you that was not their policies and you need to work harder.

I'm Genx and can totally understand the frustrations of the generations younger than me. They are being left a turd sandwich because of people like the Clintons, Obama, GWB, McConnell, Pelosi, especially the Auto Pen Biden, and all the do nothing spineless GOP senators in both of Trumps terms.
The decent youngsters that were raised right and have a good work ethic are going to be left a country in complete turmoil that even my Generation would not recognize at all because of all these career politician morons that could never see the forest for the trees and all of their corruption and policies.
They don't need to worry about it though, they will all be dead.

I’ve watched videos where those migrant workers are like family as they have been working down there for years or decades. And it is true that a lot of Americans just can’t cut the hard labor. I’m surprised they haven’t taken over the Refinery ‘Boilermaker’ trade. I did it for four years and it’s hell up in those towers. Massive overtime pay made it worthwhile as a stopgap to moving up.

You absolutely just made this fricking shite up. Most "boomers" were working class when they were in the work force.
In what part of your diseased mind would you think they would advocate for their own replacement?

Remember they are both from rural north/central Louisiana. They use immigrants for their farming.
I promise you they don't lose too many votes up there taking that position.

Its all Trumps fault that Republican Conservatives are the worst of all time

No, they can come work the crawfish and rice ponds for a few months out of the year. We don't need them breading anchors.

Or local people can do it, it’s ridiculously easy.
