How would your mother know this? Were people chanting Letlow? Because there’s no other way possible for her to know.
Because they print the vote totals from the voting machines after the polls close and deliver them to the COC, my guy.

That is true. Need to change declaration to republican not independent it can definitely effect voting on amendments and runoffs. A lot of people do not know this.

So an "Independent" couldn't vote in any primary. But "No Party" voters could choose.
This is untrue. I'm an independent and voted in the GOP primary today. You just had to tell the people at the table and fill out a form.

I’m saying of the three options, that we were given since we are independents, if you chose the “independent” ballot, and not republican or democrat, you could not vote on the amendments. That’s what I recall from today.
That's seriously fricked up. Can you prove it?
This is a serious frick up or on purpose. But...I cannot image someone trying to pull that off.

You, are probably right. I didn't even consider that.

You have three ballot options as an Independent. He had to pick one. I had to choose “Republican” to vote on everything.

My son is registered independent and got to vote on the amendments.
Everyone voted on amendments. The only option today was which Senate primary to participate in. Dem Rep or none.

I am No Party.
I was able to choose to vote in GOP.or Dem primary (which I did).
Was able.to vote for all amendments.
I would suspect that since Amendments are non-partisan, any registered voter could vote on those.

I think the wording gets a lot of people confused so they automatically vote no.

I just moved back from Colorado after 13 years. I’m not making any of it up. I’m registered “no party”.

Half this crap shouldn't be in our state constitution.

Does anyone know which areas we are waiting on?
Looks like about 1000 remaining precincts.

I had to pick a party, or no party but f that.
The party you’d pick only last through today and the runoff primary. It’s not permanent. You’d still be no party for the next election.

You could vote but you had to declare a party to vote in a party primary. I’m no party. I wanted to make sure I voted against Cassidy. I checked a form declaring as an R. I voted for Fleming. If I had stayed no party i could have only voted on the amendments. Look at the totals. The democratic and republican primaries totals are way less than the amendments totals. Many people stayed no party i assume.
It makes sense i guess. If you don’t care who makes the runoffs and will vote for a party in the general i guess you can stay no party but it sure limits your choices. I guess by being no party you could change at the last minute and declare whatever primary you choose.
Honestly I was worried a bunch of D’s would declare R at the voting time and vote for Cassidy because he would be a D if reelected.
