That is both prophetic and self-damning.

Why would they leave?

Not true. I was able to sign a form to vote in the R election today.

Whether St. George passes or not, I’ll still continue to pay tuition to send my Caucasian daughter to school with normal kids and families.

There’s no world she would go to fricking Glasgow

This city is retarded

Looks like all amendments are getting demolished, which based on reporting is due to the temper tantrum in response to the Callais decision.

Retarded, but not unexpected.

So I. The R Senate race, is it just winner take all and they’ll be the nominee?

I'm under the assumption that there is a runoff because historically our elections require a majority vote to be finalized.

The last time we went to this system it required a majority vote and there were runoff elections for the primaries and they had extremely low turnout.

This time may be different. I'm not sure.

No... if no candidate gets 50%+1 then the top 2 go to a party runoff next month

You can still fill out a form at the polls in order to participate in one of the primaries.

Ok I was told by a friend very close to election that I had to switch from I to R to participate.

What was the form that you signed?

I don't think this is true from what I've seen all over today.

Yes which is why this system is stupid. It adds another election to the cycle. In my opinion LA should embrace the "jungle primary" system and the rest of the nation follow. I know it will never happen but I believe its the best system.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them ditch the closed primary system and go back to jungle primaries after this year.

One main point was to target Cassidy and try to primary him.

What is the form? Is it party registration?

I just heard we won’t know the results of this election for two weeks. Is this true?

STATEMENT ON MAY 16 ELECTION NIGHT TURNOUT DATA

This may be where 2 weeks comes from. I think it just relates to voter turnout results though. The ballot choices were made by signing a written form but the votes cast were still done electronically.

quote:

With Louisiana’s new closed party primary system, voters registered as No Party may choose to participate in the Democratic primary, the Republican primary, or not participate in a closed party primary race.

Because of this, all parish registrars of voters must complete their work in giving each voter credit for voting in the election, identifying which ballot choice each No Party voter made. This may take up to two weeks to process those ballot choices.

57/64 Parishes have reported absentee

1,491 of 3,722 precincts reporting

Letlow 45%
Fleming 29%
Cassidy 24%

All 5 amendments down at least 10 points

Independent is different than no party.

Checked R, signed, printed and dated.

Ole bitty working the polls was not happy because apparently there is some additional processing on their end after.
