Looking like a letlow Fleming runoff

Blame the frick ups who are too stupid to plainly write an amendment.
Im not sure that would matter. Louisiana people love them some taxes.
LC is about to issue $108 million in new property tax increasing bonds and renew property taxes to fund services that are all horribly run already. It's discouraging.
The new bonds are supposed to be for schools, when we were told that casinos pay for schools. LC casinos generate $80 million per month in revenue. We shouldn't need new bonds. The taxes on gaming should be sufficient if it actually went to schools.

What the frick does some resident in Monroe, lake chuck, or Nola have to do with it?
1) Because the school districts are defined in the state constitution and changes to the constitution requires a statewide vote. Notice its one of five amendments.
2) Division of state funds per school district would dilute funds allocated to other districts if there is a per district allocation.
Note: This is a complete assumption on my part, I have no idea how state divides money. My assumption is there is a minimum amount that goes to each district and then a per student amount.

Probably, but Caddo and Orleans haven't started counting yet.

You do realize that’s not what this is about, don’t you?
It sort of is. Businesses are less likely to keep misc stuff in stock so they don't have to pay inventory taxes on it at EoY

Yall severely underestimate the people who they let vote. Those same people can’t wipe their arse properly.
Stood in line today, the 2 old chinks couldnt speak English nor understand simple directions like walk here and press this button, Latoya in her pajamas was yelling at her 3 shite head kids running around, then the Botox momma who knows what Weiler looks like inside and out, but probably couldn’t comprehend any of the language in the amendments.

Sadly, Amendment 2 could crush statewide and still fail in EBR because of retardation.
It’s going to be nerve racking night for SG.
Will the parish vote us down? We are outnumbered.

Fleming’s lead over Cassidy is slim, the race to get in runoff with Letlow isn’t over yet.

That seems really low for EBR.

The people outside the City of St George limits should have zero input on the SG amendment.

Republicans only and it’s a primary.

Does Louisiana do runoffs for primaries?
Yes which is why this system is stupid. It adds another election to the cycle. In my opinion LA should embrace the "jungle primary" system and the rest of the nation follow. I know it will never happen but I believe its the best system.
