The video is clear he was there to help and shot in self defense. This trial is a farce.

Did they show the video to the jury?

If you have to use a firearm to defend yourself you are going to have to defend yourself again in a court of law. That much should be expected.

The way Rittenhouse has been treated to this point has been deplorable and hopefully grounds for a civil suit against the city and state in due time.

Hopefully he is not having to rely on a court appointed defense team and whoever his defense attorney is has much experience in self defense cases where deadly force was necessary.

Hopefully Rittenhouse did not put himself in a situation to be viewed as the aggressor earlier in the evening.

And finally, the word Hero is misused far to often. And this is another example of that.

Should be a directed verdict of not guilty. It’s not a crime.

The prosecutor just said that Rosenbaum had just left the hospital before the incident.

They are barely in opening statements. I am sure the defense will play the entire video. From him telling a cameraman he was there to be an EMT and carrying a gun for protection. Then getting attacked and firing in a professional manner.

This prosecutor isn't doing a great job making Joseph Rosenbaum seem like a victim. His entire argument so far admits he was chasing him.

Judge Schroeder's jury selection process.
quote:

When one (prospective juror) began explaining that his support for the Second Amendment was so fervent that he did not believe he could serve as an impartial juror, Judge Schroeder stopped him.

“I want this case to reflect the greatness of Kenosha and the fairness of Kenosha, and I don’t want it to get sidetracked into other issues,” Judge Schroeder said. “I don’t care about your opinions on the Second Amendment.” LINK
Acquitted. LoL. Worst case, hung jury.

Then again, an appeal might be a problem for the State, if he gets convicted:
quote:

Many people in the jury pool said that not only had they followed the news in the Rittenhouse case, but they had formed such deeply held views on it that they were not comfortable serving on the jury.

“I just can’t see how I can get it out of my head,” one man told the judge of his opinions, just before he was dismissed.

“My opinion is set in stone on this,” another man said.
One woman said her husband had such strong feelings about the Rittenhouse case that serving on a jury whose decision went against his view meant, she said in a quavering voice, that she “would not want to go home.”

Some prospective jurors voiced fears of serving on the jury and eventually disappointing — or enraging — the public with the verdict.

“I really want to serve on a jury. I really don’t want to serve on this jury,” one woman said. “Either way this goes, you’re going to have half the country upset with you.”

Louder with Crowder feed got hilarious when this guy popped up with his Toobin glasses. Pointed out the RBG statue over his right shoulder and the furry helmet over his left (for use in his next Zoom call they noted).

WOuld imagine that is bigly favorable to Rittenhouse's team if true.

High profile cases like this usually take 2 weeks with all the strikes. And they did that in a day?

Crowder's analysis of the actual video is SPOT on. Play that for the jury and this thing lasts 3 hours.

This is a very important case. This is about so much more than Rittenhouse. They want you to be scared to defend your selves with a firearm. Heck, they just want you scared to defend yourself.
