True... unless one liked bacon on their chicken sandwich. Rather than oh, I dunno, opting to offer a chicken sandwich that was served without bacon to satisfy the muzzies, they decided to simply quit offering the option of getting bacon on your chicken sandwich at all. There can't be THAT many more muzzies up there than normal people, can there?

Again, if the amount of people who love bacon on their chicken and thus stop going to KFC outweigh the new customers, this will prove to be a poor business move. KFC is taking a "risk" to acquire a larger customer base. No one here knows how business works?

Increasing their customer base would be simply offering halal chicken. That's fine. Alienating part of their customer base is going the added step of totally removing bacon from their stores. Insofar as I know... Muslims don't eat bacon. They don't not shop at grocery stores that sell bacon though, do they? They just... don't buy the bacon.
But you are right, it is a business decision... and, quite frankly, given their choice, I hope that entire franchise of KFC goes bankrupt and is unable to financially recover and the owner of the franchise dies in abject poverty, unable to afford even a grave. That's not too much to which for, is it?

I'm no Muslimologist, but a quick google search indicates that they are either not allowed, or strongly discouraged from eating at restaurants that serve pork for risk of cross contamination. It seems clear to me that the combination of Halal chicken + no pork is more of an attempt to get the large muslim population to feel comfortable and invited to dining at KFC as opposed to trying to piss off pork loving citizens of Ontario . Time will tell how this plays out.

Nah. Same as with mcds, all the years they went serving bacon for breakfast and not on burgers went unpunished. I know I don't go to a KFC, popeyes, or churchs for a sandwich. Canada has the right kind of virtual signal supporters that it won't be punished at all. Hell, these soon to be minorities might show up with rugs and Qurans to hand out.
