Gotcha. I bet I would like that too.
Many of the traditional large plants produce Halal chicken. Unlike Kosher, it's no different than "regular" chicken except that an Islamic inspector is in the plant and says a prayer while the line is running.

It’s the big picture, not just a business decision. If that’s all it was, a business matter, it wouldn’t be relevant. However, Islam does not compromise. The West is compromising its values and it’s only going in one direction. Islam does not assimilate; it dominates. It will only become further along its goal oriented path as long as we allow it. If Muslims want Sharia law and Islam based practices, they should remain in countries that go by those principles. How do you think it would go is we went to, say Turkey or Pakistan, and said we would be having pork and were against any people who felt differently. I can assure you, it would not be a freedom of speech related ending.

I know if you drank Pepsi, Mt. Dew, etc in DC the last 30 years, it was Kosher. Had a rabbi swing by each morning and give a quick prayer on his way to temple.
Halal is just blessing the animal before slaughter. Probably the same process.
KFC discontinued pork. Really? I thought they were famous for their pork, like Dreamland only better? They probably launched pork, it failed so they turned it into a marketing coup......and judging from this thread it worked

And I don’t remember ever seeing pork at KFC

Let me ask you a question. Do you think, now stay with me here, its possible that KFC execs were sitting in a meeting and said to themselves "Man, Ontario has alot of Muslims nowadays....shite maybe if we publicize how we are going to have halal chicken, we just now have a whole new customer base?! Again, if this is a poor move, let it play out in the free market. But from a customer acquisition standpoint, you can't deny it makes sense.
