This girl likely has ZERO ability to emotionally process grief, fear, anxiety, exclusion, bullying, or embarrassment. As a young liberal, she almost certainly sees herself as a victim with society as her villainous adversary. As they age, and are inevitably forced to interact with society, these deficiencies rear their ugly heads.

my 14 yo son is pretty ambivalent towards politics, but there are three girls in his grade that are MAGA af, and have gotten in trouble for getting way too far into politics in school. they're all three pretty wealthy, well to do young ladies, but their parents indoctrinated them pretty hard. one of their dads is a friend and we agree more often than not, but he's the type that wouldn't have been opposed to storming the capitol.
i'm conservative and i do my best to give my kids a fair representation of both sides, but i also let them know the left is BSC.
apparently their journalism class turned into a shitshow because of one of them yelling "fake news" when the teacher talked about CNN being middle of the road.

As a parent that has raised a daughter with deep issues, I can assure you that the parents never had control. Fortunately, we found the right combination of medication and therapy but it took us a long time to find that mix.
