Keep hearing ”Voting Libertarian because Trump is passing laws to end gay marriage”

I believe in traditional marriage, but that isn’t an issue with this election. Also, obviously the president doesn’t legislate laws.
With that said, I was talking to a very conservative 21 year old the other day about politics and was surprised to hear he is voting Libertarian. Why? He stated it is because Trump is trying to end gay marriage and even though he isn’t gay, he believes it should be legal.
Coincidentally my son had a conversation with a twenty something year old girl yesterday that said the same thing. My guess is there is a misinformation campaign to push people that won’t vote for Biden to vote Libertarian.
Unfortunately, like democrats, Libertarians wear blinders and are so dogmatic in their beliefs that you can’t convince them otherwise. They will have an intelligent conversation, unlike democrats, but they feel voting their party makes them more intelligent than others, like democrats.

I’ve heard the same thing too. I was glad that people who are gay were able to get married. They’re consenting adults for god sake.
I don’t know anybody in real life today who really cares that two people can legally get married regardless of gender. I think we’re past that now.

Trump is more of a populist, so I don't think he would do that.. But that's also kind of a dumb. Voting libertarian is pretty much like throwing your vote in the trash.

I used to be against gay marriage.. Now after growing up... love who you love ... I don’t care and I have no right to tell anyone how to live their life and who to love

erroneous. his work to decriminalize homosexuality in other backwards countries was actually just modern day imperialism and made things worse for gays worldwide. because.
why? because a gay magazine told me so.
