Don't know why he dropped the 296K "hypothetical." Should have hammered that home.

I like how this judge has handled the actual trial so far. Even though, I disagree with his pre-trial rulings.

Yes, b/c I'm not a lawyer and as a layperson, that hits home.

Any idea when this judge is supposed to rule on this stuff?

Why is he looking back and forth between two screens?

What I meant by this was that during Hobbs' team asking questions he looked straight at the camera and then down/right when answering. When Lakes' team did he leaned forward and his eyes darted back and forth between the center and down/right as if he was waiting for an answer to be fed to him.

careful there = you are invalidating the entire reason for mass mail-in ballots Nancy not gonna like that

No skin of my back. If a state doesn’t wish to do mail in voting, that’s completely their call.

NO STATE should do mass mail-in voting. It's ridiculous & creates doubt in elections.

The fact that judge allowed that clown to lie to him about him reading answers should tell you where this trial is going . Stevie Wonder could listen to Slick Willie Stallone and tell he was reading his answers . The Judge can see his face and allows it? What a farce .

Sounds like the whole way Maricopa County conducts its elections violates AZ law.

This is a decent closing so far although I don't like the "it doesn't make sense" repetition

I agree, they need to keep saying "disenfranchisement" or whatever they are required to prove to the judge.

I think he is nailing the high points he needs to be more dramatic in getting his point across

The county produced no chain of custody documents for 250,000 ballots. Lake asked for it. They left a voicemail that they couldn't get it together. The county showed up with no chain of custody documents at the trial. There is no evidence that Maricopa followed its chain of custody protocols.

I promise I’m not trying to start an argument here even though I keep coming back to this point. Would the county have to prove they followed their procedures or would Lake first have to prove they didn’t? I understand they didn’t give Lake what she wanted, but it may be correct that they didn’t have time to do it in this compressed timeframe as the county claimed.

Has Lake provided proof the county did not follow the law or their own procedures? I don’t see how she can put the burden on them to refute it if she hasn’t first proved one of those two things. I would assume the default assumption is the county did it correctly though.

He needs to keep pushing them not following the law. From ballot sizing to chain of custody to the count

I wish the lawyer doing Lakes' closing would have done most of the questioning. He has come across to me, as a layperson, as a much better lawyer than the long haired guy.
