In the same poll, Trump's barely winning against Biden (Trump has a 2 point lead).

That's despite most respondents saying that they're worse off and the economy is getting worse.

That tells you either

a) How unpopular Trump is
b) How popular Biden is

and I'm guessing it's not B.

Harvard? These are the least likely people that I want to lead our country.

It’s no longer book smarts. It’s common sense that we need. If we rely on book smarts we will continue to go in a shite hole.

Exactly.

I am left leaning. And any numbers that conclude that were cooked.

Is Ketangi Brown Jackson someone that will defend rights in the constitution or will she want to change it to fit her far left views?

"We must together, work together, to build relationships, together, and prepare, together, for the economic uncertainties that, together we will be facing, together, while using the tools we've established, together, to ensure our goals are met and that, together we can build a nation that, together, we can establish dignity, equity and togetherness with our fellow Americans, together," Harris told CNN after seeing the poll results

Here’s what I’m gonna add, and I do understand it might not be received very well:

Just because Desantis is venerated to an IMO to the jarring extent that he is here on this discussion forum, that doesn’t mean there’s that same extreme level elsewhere. I think folks fall into the trap of assuming everyone else must obviously opine and feel the same way they do, and follow Desantis at the level they do. If anyone has that type following all over the place elsewhere it’s Trump.

Which proves the point about 5 people have made in this thread. DeSantis lacks the name recognition of Trump, Biden, Harris. He is not known nationally. That will change when he enters the race and debates other candidates.

Thanks for agreeing.

Well I’m sure Desantis hopes your reading of the future is accurate. But I’m gonna go with you’ve gotten way, way ahead of yourself.

If only it were that easy. Anyhow, there’s a reason why Trump’s the runaway favorite to win the nomination should be choose to seek it. You’re in a distinct minority.

ETA….. If Trump throws in, IMO there’s <1% chance Desantis would also run and simply wait 4 years. I can’t imagine people not realizing hit his potential would take if he got sideways with the clearly formidable MAGA nation voting bloc. Thankfully Desantis gets all that though, so I worry not about him making a fatal decision because he does have the chops to realize it.

This^^^^^^^^^^

I keep telling the Trump haters on here, Trump would easily beat DeSantis in a primary.

I think Trump might even beat DeSantis in Florida.

The "mean tweet" pussies who voted for Biden prefer DeSantis.

The establishment Republicans probably prefer DeSantis over Trump because they think they will be able to control him.

Either way, I like DeSantis and will vote for him if he is the nominee, but I prefer Trump.

If neither runs, the Democrats win.
