shite, McCain SUSPENDED his campaign after he accepted the nomination as a campaign strategy.
I had forgotten about that. His nomination was the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award and really, he had no business as the candidate. Bush's presidency ended so poorly that there was no way that an R was going to win so they gave him a prize.
Tinfoil hat on.... The way that McCain and Romney ran their campaigns, it's almost as if they were controlled by the same group that controlled Obama and were told to back off and let him take the presidency. They really put up no fight against him.

It is more than that. Genuine people do well in a format like Rogan's. Fakes get called out. She wants no part of that. She would get taken to the woodshed.
I'm certain her team wants a bunch of requirements that are completely unacceptable for a genuine interview

Smart decision by her

She knows she would look like a complete imbecile (moreso than now) if the went on his show.

I'm just a fan of presidential politics and not an expert, but I really believe Romney wanted to win. You might be right on McCain.
Romney ran a pretty good campaign and had a national lead for a couple of days in the polls. Evangelical voters stayed home because he was Mormon. Romney won 24 states and pushed Obama all over the map. There were 11 tossup states in RCP on Election Day. Romney was around 400k votes in three states from winning in 2012. If Miami, Cleveland and Philadelphia had cast 0 votes, Romney wins.
If Romney were Baptist, he probably wins in '12. He won Protestants by 15 points, there just were about 5 million less than voted for McCain.
Romney may be the last Republican to win college graduates. He was +4

Honestly the only smart thing she has done throughout her campaign. But that's also a double edged sword, too.

What a chicken shite!

That was why I feel he given the word to slow his roll. He had the momentum, was fresh off a very good debate performance, went up in the polls and then from that point on, just backed off. He came out and deferred to Obama in the following debates and didn't go on the offensive at all. His campaign really slowed down and he actively went away from the talking points that were working. Also, the RNC did nothing to counter the obvious mechanisms in place by the democratic machine.
Obviously, this is all my opinion and conjecture, just really seems that he intentionally gave away his advantage rather than leveraging it.

Great synopsis.
One thing missing is every presidential nominee from Bush/Dukakis until 2016 was a deep state figurehead. The "mysterious" backing down or flubs by the campaigns were staged to give us the illusion of choice.
I would also add that Reagan/Mondale were also probable deep state choices. Reagan got his warning shot in 1981 and, with Bush as his VP, the deep state had their backup plan in place (similar to Pence).

Someone on here called this immediately after her horrific interview on FoxNews. Can't remember who it was.
It was all of us who aren’t complete lunatic libtards.

Plot twist. She still may win. Never underestimate the cheat.

Young Jamie, pull the clip. She’d be hearing that in her nightmares.

Probably refused to give her the questions ahead of time and would not agree to fact check Trump and not her.

She’s incapable of an actual hour long conversation with real question and no censoring. There’s a reason why her staff was quitting on her for the first few years of her vice-presidency. Do you wanna work for a moron?

Joe is apparently pretty tight with Elon now... like, they're actually friends... and I'm sure he would have grilled her about her/Dems vendetta against Musk and X, as well as him, and their criminalization of free speech. Among other things...

As of yesterday, there were headlines that Kamala said she was going on Rogan, this was after the announcement of Trump going on Rogan this Friday.

Dude had one legendary blunder (that would have been one of the top highlights of THIS campaign) and was running against the prosperity of the Reagan Revolution as a Massachusetts liberal. Outside of that, he was 100 times more polished and coherent as a candidate than Kamala could ever dream of being.

So much for attempting to reach voters. Such a dumb tactic
