I’ve never had a conversation with you Ben, but as a fellow member of this site, i consider you a friend. As you can tell, you’ve obviously made a tremendous impact on many peoples lives and that is something that lives on forever. You know....watching our friend Ben Coleman go through his grand hurrah...a celebration of a life well lived...is a stark reminder of what matters and what does not. Ben, at this moment, doesnt care of his social status....how much money he made...or whether he looks skinny in a photo. All he cares about is is wonderful wife....his friends and loved ones. We tend to get lost in the rat race of what we have..what we make...how we appear to other people...how "cool" we are. In the end, all tjat shite is meaningless. Look....be good to others....be honest..do the right thing. Our day is coming.so why do so many get off track? Honestly, it is weird to me how we all get side tracked by society and the pressures it brings. I'm taking this episode in my life (Ben Coleman's struggle) to try and be a better man...husband...and father. I do pretty good, but can be better. I had a conversation with a bartender several years ago who was going to be baptised Catholic. I asked him why? He said, "Well...I figure if Im right, Ill go to heaven and it will be fantastic. If I'm wrong, then after I. gone people will say "Mike was a great Christian and a good man." Its a win win. Lot of truth to that. Here's hoping Ben has an impact on us all.....
