Gas got to a $4 AVERAGE under GWB and anytime a Dem blamed him it was deflected to "muh market!" "Muh OPEC!" "prez'DINTs dont control gas prices!"

Which one is it you goofs?!

Had a lib tell me it’s because OPEC is doing it ahead of everything opening back up. I was like “dude, in the trucking and shipping world nothing was ever shut down.”

2 years ago this board said higher gas prices was good for the economy.

That would be true if demand was high and production was high. But since this administration has outright said it hates oil and gas, those companies haven’t ramped up production to meet demand. Something about investment in policy or something.

Isn’t 2.79 a gallon a small price to pay in order to not be exposed to mean tweets?

Uhh.. they cancel oil and gas leases... they cancel a pipeline that would transport oil quicker and cheaper,... they are against new energy exploration... their policy toward oil and gas is hostile.

You do know that a policy geared to stagnate supply levels with rising demand causes immediate higher prices don’t you?

Transportation and electricity each make up about 30% of US greenhouse gas emissions. If you think you are going to help the environment by forcing electric cars on us, you are just taking from one column and adding to another. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, as they say.

Yea first shite these retards spout off, it’s because people are traveling more so it’s going back up. But it doesn’t explain the low price before the pandemic when everything was normal. It’s just a major ‘coincidence’ that it shot back up when the ‘elected’ pres said he wants to shut down oil and gas.

Libs need to quit acting stupid and own it now. You got what you voted for. Enjoy.

It’s going to get higher The Suez Canal is bottlenecked. 300 plus ships backed up. A lot of oil flows the Suez Canal.
