Judge Tigar defies federal appeals court, reinstates injunction against asylum ban

He needs to be arrested by Federal Marshal's and removed from the bench ASAP.
This is insane.
So the immigrant groups can just keep bringing new lawsuits and Tigar can just keep ruling in their favor again and again and again.
ETA: Tiger says plaintiffs brought “new evidence”

How is this even possible? There is not manner or mechanism that should allow for this and this judge should be removed from the bench for such a bullshite move...

After his rebuke last year or the year before on federal judges and their shenanigans regarding the travel ban, you know Clarence Thomas is chomping at the bit to get this up before SCOTUS.

No. The appeals court for the time being limited the scope of the district courts injunction to the geographic boundaries of the 9th circuit and said that it felt the nationwide aspect would succeed if better evidence connecting the scope was provided. The same plaintiffs went back to the district court and added supplemental evidence. The judge then reissued the nationwide ban. The feds will, again, appeal and the 9th will probably (shockingly/sarcasm) affirm which will set up the appeal to the S Ct.
That's how the legal system works.

GOP won’t do anything. They need these controversy to motivate their base.
They have whined about the 9th for years while purposely not telling you Congress has complete control over the judicial branch structure.
