So in open court with everyone watching live, Sullivan proceeds to falsely accuse Flynn of serving as an unregistered foreign agent in the White House. Then goes on to say that Flynn sold out the United States and asks if he committed Treason.
Then he takes a recess and comes back and says, "oh, my bad"

He immediately exposed every member of the media in the interim of breaking quite a few rules.

How did he falsely accuse him? He has seen the evidence. You on the other hand haven’t. You need to find better pundits ??

He falsely accused him because after the recess he apologized. Maybe you need to find a better pundit.

You might want to read up on the Judge's comments when he returned to keep from looking like a clown.

he accused him of something that was false...

that's probably why he apologized and admitted he was wrong...

"All along you were an unregistered agent of a foreign country while serving as the national security adviser"
Though technically accurate as Flynn didn't register with the DOJ as a foreign agent until after his short tenure as National Security Adviser, very misleading and false light statement that implies Flynn is some treasonous monster for perfectly legal stuff per the Lobbying Disclosure Act. Judge Sullivan's very lucky he has absolute immunity from a defamation/false light lawsuit per the proceedings.
Dude complied with LDA then FARA and wasn't like he was advocating for the overthrow of the US govt or anything like that, lil overdramatic and theatrical methinks, have a Snickers.
So let me get this straight: Mike Flynn sold out the US when he lied to the FBI about whether he met the Russian Ambassador, which FBI already possessed substantive proof showing he did, and arguably that lie may not even qualify as a false statement under 18 USC 1001 due materiality element? Damn if thats the standard Judge Sullivan's going by then almost every politician who's ever lived sold this country out.
Not defending lying or material false statements but have some perspective, dude.

Arguably that undermines everything that this flag over here stands for. Arguably you sold your country out.

You are not supposed to have phones in the courtroom.

He revealed his true colors for a second and then Muh-ller had to cough a couple of times and let him know that he was going too far and to stick to the script.

He didn't actually comply with FARA. In fact he tried to file retroactively and was charged for making false statements regarding his filing.
The other other thing is a lot of people are being confused by the gradations of foreign agency in this case. Gates, Manafort, and Patten were charged with FARA violation (18 USC 618) which I'd agree is a cousin of LDA. Flynn's partner was indicted for 18 USC 951 (which Mariia Butina was also charged with), more of a "lite espionage" statute. Flynn's conduct in the indictment suggests he could be charged with this as well, but hasn't been, and this explains Sullivan's reaction.
Good lawfare piece on the difference between FARA (618) and 951.
No, Mariia Butina Wasn't Violating FARA

Sullivan lectured Flynn, “Arguably you sold your country out … I’m not hiding my disgust, my disdain for this criminal offense.” He mused that Flynn may have committed treason, before later acknowledging that treason only applies to assisting foreign enemies that are in a state of war with the United States (which Russia and Turkey were not.)
quote:
he might hand down prison time despite Robert Mueller’s recommendation that Flynn go free due to his cooperation. For this reason, Sullivan offered, and Flynn accepted, a 90-day delay, so that Flynn might have more cooperation to show in order to bargain down his sentence.
You guys can tap dance all you want but it looks like the Judge could impose an sentence over what Mueller recommended. But keep telling yourself that he was framed and did nothing.

did this judge not just express clear bias and undeniable lack of understanding or listening to the evidence presented?
how can this man make any ruling now after such a statement, that isnt instantly overturned on it face short of fully exonerating flynn?
the judge apparently proved he understands less about the evidence in this case then those who havent heard the evidence
