"No one showed up for the parade" will be the headline if the parade goes on!!

the agenda is on course. It is always about pushing their belief system onto those who do not believe like them.
this is what they blame Christians for is it not?

Christmas Under Attack! ?? A LGBT group says the intend to make the Prattville, Alabama Christmas Parade "merry and gay."
Local residents are furious and warning parents not to bring small children to the annual parade.
It seems the good church-going people of Prattville don't want to see a bunch of drag queens in gay apparel doing unmentionable things to Santa's elves in the middle of Main Street.
Defenders accuse the Christians of bigotry, hate and intolerance. They says inclusion is for everyone.
I wonder if the LGBT activists would be so "tolerant" and "inclusive" if dozens of churches petitioned to include anti-gay floats in the city's pride parade?
Prattville Pride has made it crystal clear that their intentions are to turn Christmas into a gay pride celebration. City Hall should have the courage to explain to the activists that Jesus is the reason for the season, not RuPaul.

And Kaitlyn Collins with CNN hails from Prattville. Probably not a coincidence? At any rate roll tide, right?

Let them in the parade, and let onlookers throw whatever they want.

Prattville is one of the most conservative places you’ll find in Alabama. Someone was looking to stir the pot, and activist judges willingly obliged. Freedom of association is dead in this country,

Would a gay alphabet parade allow a Christian Pro-Life float in their parades?
The precedent has been set.
I truly hope many, many heterosexual groups demand to have floats during all pride month parades next February throughout the nation.

Looking forward to the Straight Christians float in the Pride Month parade.
This is the way.
And it needs to have all the Bible verses condemning homosexuality painted on it.

Cancel the parade. Reschedule for next week. Prattville No Homo Christmas Parade.
It's 2024, just don't have it and gather at your local churches/straight establishments.

Good grief.
He didn't legislate from the bench. He went with almost 70 years of legal precedent with regard to the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The City of Pratville sponsored a parade. That means it's a public event.
They can't discriminate who can be in it on the basis of immutable characteristics.
This is what smoothbrains here can't understand when it comes to prayer in government schools. When you let the kind you like in, there's no way to keep out the kind you don't like. It's the same with this.
But that doesn't mean there don't need to be Christian floats in all the Gay Pride Parades everywhere going forward. No one would have thought of doing that until these degenerates decided to use the power of the government to desecrate a Christmas parade.
But (I hope) now it's on like Donkey Kong.
If the Christians can't keep the gays out, the gays can't keep the Christians out.

What is immutable about a dude pretending to be a woman?

Why do y'all not understand stuff like this?
A violation of freedom of association is the government forcing a private baker to bake a gay wedding cake. I agree, that's a true violation of freedom of association (and religion).
A PUBLIC parade sponsored by the government cannot (and should not be able to) discriminate upon the basis of immutable characteristics.
Public vs private.
Why is that distinction so hard for so many people?
If you start lobbying for the government to allow public discrimination based on immutable characteristics, surely you realize that straight white men are going to be at the top of the list to freely discriminate against, don't you?

My vote was cancel it.
That is the agenda to screw up every tradition in America.

I don't think so. I think they see that as the fallback position.
I think the goal is to continue to normalize it to children. They want the parades to happen, they just want to be in them to normalize their lifestyle.
If they cancelled the parade, that wouldn't be as good as having it with them in it, but they would still use it. It would then make national news because Prattville was so "hateful" that is cancelled a parade rather than allowing gays in it. Which also goes towards normalizing the behavior.
Not their first choice, but they would take it.

I don’t know a ton about Prattville, but this seems like a bad idea. Probably the majority of the locals don’t want it, and will make that clear during the parade. They will not win over anyone so what’s the purpose? It’s almost like the judge is hoping for something to happen.
