I’m certain that isn’t your concern.

the Trump admin knew this was a weak case and allowed the ineligible prosecutor so they could save face and claim the Deep State is stopping them

but in her defense it was a shite case. Trump's US Atty resigned because he knew that and Halligan was all they could get.
Yeah it was a rush job for political points that no serious person wanted to bring. The admin gave her a Faustian bargain and then no support (because all the serious people warned her and then left). I don't think she's a bad lawyer but was in a bad position.

I think she figures she can fail upward by being loyal which isn't a bad thought. She's in the mold of Habba.

I'm of the belief all of this is theatrics on both sides. Everyone knew this would be the outcome but now the Dems can celebrate and trump can wag a finger at a judge

I don't think this is unreasonable.

That's not legal. Military courts have no jurisdiction over normal civilians.
It's happened many times. And been upheld by SCOTUS.
You people have no clue as to what you're talking about.

LOL if you think they are baseless. They broke the law and it is not debatable.
based on just this thread alone it's obvious that's not true

Did you read the words in the picture you posted?
"military tribunals may not try U.S. citizens when regular civilian courts are open and functioning"
And in the modern case, that person was not a "normal civilian"

I am basically to the point I don't care anymore.
It is clear that the Dems in DC are going to protect their own and theres not a fricking thing that can be done about it within the confines of the judicial system.
Therefore, the only solution is extrajudicial.
