More than anything I believe McCain is super mad at Trump for backing MBS in Saudi Arabia who locked up and seized Prince Al Waleed assets. Prince Al Waleed was a MAJOR benefactor of the McCain Institute.

I am what some would consider an Evangelical Christian. However, I do not believe in eternal concience torment(modern hell). My reasons are plenteous.
Every now and then though, someone comes along, like a John McCain..and greatly causes an re-evaluation of those beliefs. Then, I digress and concede to my initial beliefs. Someone such as John already abides there.

I see McCain didn't personally thank Trump for Jack Johnson's pardon. McCain and Harry Reid had been calling for the pardon for years. He did insinuate the pardon was a good thing, just no credit to the guy responsible for it.
