Exactly, the economic conditions justified that, purely a form of the market. The market isn't allowed to operate that way now.

He's definitely horrible.
Y'all ever notice that him and his social media team are often not on the same page? This is a problem that spreads from his campaign to his presidency. I've to believe it's strategic...and relies solely on the fact that none of the media calls him out.
His social media team would agree that police across America need to be defunded. He would say that police shouldn't be defunded.
His social media team would say that there will be there will be a war on fossil fuels. He said that he wouldn't harm that industry.
His social media team encouraged the riots of last year. He weakly condemned violence.

Carter is a decent, honest, and principaled man who had good intentions but was just horribly unprepared for the job and ineffective. His inability to get the economy moving and his weakness on foreign policy (Iran) did him in.

It really is amazing. The great orange man had the economy going great (until the plague) and things were really getting better. Jobs and economy were coming back at the end of last year. Then the new guy comes in and just wants to do the direct opposite on everything. Now, we have a dadgum crapshow and things are trending to get worse and worse.
