No one remotely concerned over this comment is ever going to vote Republican.

This is not true. There are several republicans who either can't have kids or have friends or family who can't. These comments are hurtful to them. I don't think they'll vote Kamala over it but might simply skip the election.

Do you think it would be worth it to lose the election because of Vance?

The MAGA playbook:

Step 1 - Say stupid shite that intentionally alienates huge swaths of the electorate

Step 2 - Double down on said stupid shite

Step 3 - Lose election

Step 4 - Cry "RIGGED!"

While the comments were from 2021, he doubled down on them yesterday on Megyn Kelly's show.

No, what he did was ably articulate that many of the domestic policies of the progressive left are decidedly anti-family.

Was he honest when he attacked Trump 8 years ago, or is he being honest now by supporting Trump?

You have to admit that cat lady sniping and a tax policy that's been in place for decades are way, way more important than 20 million illegals and all the costs and crime they bring with them.

No one needs to articulate that. Trump is already winning the vote of people who think like that. Vance adds nothing here and is just hurting the cause by being a bad messenger.

Only the right is held to this standard.

The left deliberately insults various segments and demographics of American society to applause and media support.

Only the right has to apologize and be cautious not to offend.

The left takes pride in its offensive nature.

When is the last time a leftist apologized for nasty comments about some American demographic?

It’s never been a “bad strategy” for the left to attack certain Americans.

You can be honest and wrong at the same time.

How is this wrong?

I agree wholeheartedly, and it all stems from a bill of goods sold to them by the feminists who’ve all but destroyed the American family in their wake, placing absurdly ridiculous expectations upon women that goes against their nature, demonizing men, and remaining completely opposed to their very purpose and role in life. It all leaves everyone’s life a broken mess. Men, Women, Children, all pay the price for this lunacy, but the price is high because it now takes double what it should take to pay the bills.

No way, man. The most important thing right now is for the GOP's VP candidate to attack childless women.

I feel like he felt that way at that time.

After receiving more information and data, he changed his position.

Do we want our leaders to never adjust their thinking when confronted with new data and information?

You prove the point at how idiotic the Vance pick was and his statements.

They are a distraction and give the media fodder to deflect away from the real issues.

We know the media are cheerleaders for the Dems so it is going to take disciplined candidates to combat that and remain focused.

Right now, the Trump/Vance campaign is flailing and has not clue how to respond to the Harris candidacy.

Hopefully they can get it together because right now they are getting worked over by the media and the Dems.

The PROG playbook:

Step 1: Promote the chemical sterilization and genital mutilation of mentally unstable but otherwise healthy minors as a normal expression of human sexuality.

Step 2: Promote the slaughter of unborn children vis-à-vis
full term abortions.

Step 3: Promote the trafficking of children vis-à-vis unfettered immigration and open borders.

Step 4: Claim your insane, degenerate and anti-human agenda is compassionate and pro-family.

I'm not the biggest fan of JDV but it was hardly idiotic for DT to pick him.

The media will always find fodder to deflect away from the real issues. Have you paid attention to politics for more than a couple of years?

B.S.

Vance wasn’t making some sociopolitical comment on people who choose — or are unable — to have kids.

The point was much of the progressive agenda looks upon human procreation has a cancer on earth that must be eradicated.

This is indeed the stated agenda of many “climate-change ” ideologists:
