You are coping hard. Pick Youngkin and none of this happens.

He actually didn’t say that, and I see nothing wrong with what he did say. The sexual revolution in the 1960s and 1970s destroyed the family unit in this country, maybe irreversibly. Leftists want to know why there’s so much violence in our schools, maybe let’s start with the fact that an overwhelming majority come from single parent homes.
Here's the thing : 50% of american marriages end up in divorce. So there's a lot of women open to voting Trump who have divorced their husbands. Some of them for domestic violence. This is not helping with winning them over.
Trump should drop Vance and FAST!!!

If tweet fails to load, click here. Was this guy vetted at all? It really seems like there are hundreds of videos of him out there saying toxic things. He is a Manchurian candidate. Drop him.
Some republicans want to lose. I'm sure of it.

If the reporting in this story is accurate then Trump's own pick was Burgum. It is his sons and tech billionaires like Peter Thiel who convinced him to choose Vance. I believe Trump has good political instincts and Burgum would have been far better than Vance.

I find it interesting that you bring up Romney's 47% comment because Vance's comment are exactly like that to most voters. Or, even worse Hillary's "Basket of déplorables" comment. And as you well know, both of those candidates lost. "Attack the candidate but don't insult the voters" is an important rule in politics
Yep Kelly would eat that idiot Vance in a debate.

No, what he did was ably articulate that many of the domestic policies of the progressive left are decidedly anti-family.
No one needs to articulate that. Trump is already winning the vote of people who think like that. Vance adds nothing here and is just hurting the cause by being a bad messenger.

This is not true. There are several republicans who either can't have kids or have friends or family who can't. These comments are hurtful to them. I don't think they'll vote Kamala over it but might simply skip the election.
Do you think it would be worth it to lose the election because of Vance?

While the comments were from 2021, he doubled down on them yesterday on Megyn Kelly's show.

Vance is an idiot and Trump would be foolish to keep him on the ticket. We have literally spent one week playing defense. This is unacceptable.
Oh god he just doubled down.
Is he trying to lose the election? Couldn't he just say that he was taken out of context?

Youngkin

See, this is exactly why Vance is a shite candidate. We're really gonna be spending days talking about Vance insulting childless women instead of attacking Harris. Is that really what Trump wanted when he picked Vance a week ago?
And to the people saying the media would attack anyone the same, that's not true, just people coping. Not every prospective VP has so many skeletons in their closet as him. Do people honestly believe the campaign would be spending these precious moments playing damage control if Youngkin had been selected?
If Trump loses the 2024 election by a hair, it would be easy to argue that Vance was the reason. And that would make it the saddest way ever to lose an election, especially against as bad an opponent as Harris.
I hope Trump replaces Vance with Burgum or Youngkin.

The best VP is the one who doesn't bring baggage to the ticket. On that metric, Vance is terrible since he seems to be alienating women, a group Trump obviously needs. Trump spent the better part of a year trying to find a position on abortion that could reasonably satisfy everyone and he did but videos of Vance calling for the arrest of pregnant women crossing state lines are starting to resurface. And of course his cat lady comments. And now there's even news that he's directly involved with Project 2025. Trump really didn't need the focus to be on such issues rather than immigration and inflation. When you couple these with Vance's criticism of Trump from years ago, he almost seems like a Manchurian candidate.
I've also read that Trump's own pick was Burgum but he was convinced by his sons to pick Vance. If so, they are a bunch of dumb*sses and Trump was dumb too, for listening to them. Trump literally did better in Ohio (in both 2016 and 2020) than Vance did so you can't even say he's bringing anyone to the table, he's actively driving people (read: women) away. Burgum would've been 1000x better

If tweet fails to load, click here. Fantastic ad. Every republican should use this as a template. Tie every democrat who came out in support of her to these radical positions. Let voters know her.
For those doubting how bad JD is as a VP pick, here's what he had to say about "poor whites" in 2016:

... is still pissing me off.
I've seen more attacks on Vance than on Trump himself in the past 24 hours. So he's dragging down the ticket without bringing any upside to Trump. I think Trump got cocky due to his polling lead over Biden and decided to pick an heir to MAGA rather than some bland but inoffensive VP like (Tim) Scott or Doug Burgum. Now the democrats will milk it for all its worth, especially since they managed to remove their biggest drag (Biden). Hopefully it won't be as bad as Palin ended up being for McCain in 2008

If tweet fails to load, click here. I still can't get over the fact that Trump has picked a neverTrump guy as his running mate. All of these posts and videos of JD Vance criticizing are out in the open, it's not like any of this was a secret. Might as well have chosen HHtM as his running mate.
What an absolutely atrocious pick. This election could've been a landslide and now it's gonna be a nailbiter again.
