The gaslighting is so desperate.
Maybe that would make sense if there werent numerous examples of democrats implying, alluding to, directly calling for, and even Attempting to killing the president.
But you know this - probably more than anyone here

Trump should have been running with this energy for the past year instead of wasting time on that stupid war.

Good point.
I should have said, "If a crime was committed, then I'm fine with it."
You know why I didn't?
Because I already said that in my initial post, which is the one I assume you replied to.
I wasn't addressing whether you were fine with it or not.
I simply asked if we could agree that he was expressing support for assassinating Trump.
I think it's obvious to anyone who is honest. That's different than it being criminal. And, it's different than it being able to be proven.

Yep. People supporting this are not fans of free speech. This is the biggest reach ever. Arranging seashells into the #86 gets you 20 years in prison for threatening to kill the president. Thats wild
Do you acknowledge that he was showing support for assassinating Trump?
I'm not arguing whether that is illegal. But, do we have to pretend what he was referring to?

this is hard to watch
nobody except the dumbest among us thought comey meant kill the president. imo even trump doesn't believe it. but he's got something to talk about to distract from the iran war, his outrageous spending habits, etc.
this will go nowhere and be tossed just like his previous efforts to get back at comey because he hurt trumps delicate feelings. if anything, he should be thanking comey - his reopening of the killary investigation likely got trump in office 2016
I pretty much agree with everything you said there, the problem is that none of it has anything to do with what you and I were discussing.
You ridiculed the idea that "86ing" someone could possibly be referring to killing them and you were clearly wrong about that, then you doubled down because your reading comprehension pulled a massive fail on you.
From what I read online, the guy is not guilty of a crime even if he was using the mob term for "86ing" someone, and to show otherwise the prosecution would have to be able to prove that he had intent for Trump to actually be killed. Which is highly doubtful to say the least.
HOWEVER, that wasn't the point between you and I.

And like all the previous times this will go nowhere...
Hey - It has gone further than the Epstein list indictments. Give them some credit.

sure. it's from restaurant kitchens, ie "we're out of the oysters, 86 em". it's been 30 years since i worked in a restaurant, but that's where it comes from. any of the reverse engineering trump's lackeys like stephen miller want you to believe it's a mob term is just more propaganda
I don't think Comey did anything illegal.
I do think he meant kill Trump. It's the only rational interpretation of 8647 by Comey.
Your suggestion that Comey meant for Trump to be removed from a menu is bizarre.
