I don’t think Trump is really that bad. It’s the people under him running the show.

If you consider the reach and importance of Twitter (like it or not) ... but how they have NEVER monitized or provided anywhere close to the shareholder value of the other FANGMAN stocks

Tells you a lot of about how well of a company it is in actually returning value ...as opposed to a tech conglomerate full of shareholder mutual fund money just sitting around their little bubble in Silicon Valley with no clue that the rest of the world is juuuuuust abut different then their board meetings at the local sushi restaurant

Doesn't believe all that was coordinated. Actually what he doesn't believe is people have the critical thinking skills to see through the Stalinist bullshite being pulled on them.

The best thing he said in his tweet storm is he is investing in an open source decentralized social media. The problem is HE is funding it. Would be a lot better if Elon or someone else was funding it.

Right. The fact that they clicked a button and hundreds/thousands of accounts were gone is what scares me. Who studied all of those accounts and put them on a list? Why did they pull that trigger? There were seemingly harmless things like Ben Garrison (cartoonist) and TechnoFog (basically a news aggregator) in that group.

Woke employees. Just look at whats happened at Spotify. There's obviously a huge disconnect between those who run the company and the woke employees. Joe Rogan was signed to a mega deal on Spotify and the little turd employees threw a tantrum.

These tech bros are not really strong willed people. They're kind of weird dudes who probably aren't great at dealing with aggressive people like activists who have been REALLY aggressive recently.

I think Jack is a lefty, no questions asked, we've seen plenty of hysterical screechy CEOs from silicon Valley, but I don't think he's the energy behind the bannings.

Silicon Valley has surrounded themselves with extremists and they only have themselves to blame for the craziness. Maybe they should change their hiring practices and stop thinking hiring races/genders is going to change the energy of the company.

Doesn't matter ultimately because the woke won't let these levers of power go. Theyll burn Twitter and Facebook to the ground before they move in a moderate direction.

Yep. The little activist turds will swarm anything and eventually take it over.

It’s weird how people want to give him benefit of the doubt STILL at this point.

The man founded and serves as CEO of Twitter. If he wanted to control this shite, HE COULD. It’s his vision and his direction .... as the man who leads the fricking company

You assume he has the same personality and mindset as the traditional CEO. These tech CEOs are usually a different breed. These aren't your traditional oil tycoon types. They're like that parent that says yes to everything.

I agree with that sort of assessment ... which (maybe for a different reason) still shows that it’s the fault of leadership.

It’s ultimately his responsibility one way or the other.

So I’m glad he’s taking the heat.

On another note it does make me curious to see how he is going to operate Square going forward ... Square is sin SUCH a GREAT position. With small business (and their Cash App) ... it would be an epic squander to the shareholders if this woke culture and cancel antics bled in a large way into a real company with real customers and communities directly impacted by access to those financial services and card processing

He doesn't regret anything other than the stock price dropping.

My favorite part was when he said “If you don’t like twitter’s rules then go to another platform.”

This is one day after he was bragging by showing screenshots of the apple store with Parler gone. He obviously committed collusion.

Thread title misleading, Jack just gave some lip service. He’s sorry that his company’s stock took a hit and he’s getting accused of violating the first amendment, but he’s doubling down that what he did was necessary for safety.

In short, he doesn’t regret it at all.
