He regrets the billions of dollars they have in stock price. I’m sure his shareholders are pissed.

Jack is a fricking idiot. He says that he didn’t invent Twitter but discovered it, and I believe him since that moron couldn’t invent jack shite. That being said, I think Jack is the only one in Silicon Valley with any conscience to speak of and is just a skin suit for the people that actually run his company.

Just so we’re clear, Twitter has the least power and the smallest integration into the overall fabric of our lives of all the social media platforms.
90% of their posts come from 10% of their users. If they lost 15% of those 10% with the de-platforming of Trump, they might have lost 20% of their daily posts.
Their value is in the future of the platform. Signaling that they don’t want a third of their users isn’t a long-term viable option.
If you have a couple hours and haven’t done so, watch him and Vijaya lie their way through three hours with Joe Rogan and Tim Poole.

That puts them in a very precarious position with their existing users who are generally left wing, outspoken, and psychotic.

I think Cuomo will reopen New York’s economy.
It’s easy to reverse course on a dumb mistake. It’s better to not make a completely avoidable dumb mistake. It’s even better to not make a completely avoidable dumb mistake based on personal biases.

Right. The fact that they clicked a button and hundreds/thousands of accounts were gone is what scares me. Who studied all of those accounts and put them on a list? Why did they pull that trigger? There were seemingly harmless things like Ben Garrison (cartoonist) and TechnoFog (basically a news aggregator) in that group.

Jack has no ragrets.
Sic intentional to our grammar nazis.

I don't think Jack is as bad as his company is. He is trying to be on LSD all the time and please his woke employees and executives at the same time, all while living in a bubble. He is only human.

Yeah nah.... he used several key terms in there which is clearly trying to get ahead of a legal challenge
The launching a new open internet” project blah blah.
Inside Twitter legal... they know the lawsuits are coming. Parler suit with Amazon going to bring plenty of discovery

I don't know if he's centrist, but I do agree the environment he's in both at Twitter and regionally really pressures him to pull the trigger with every emotional whim.
