He's on a loop.

If you choose to do so, you can make him dance and post on this subject for several days.

He won't relent, he is neurologically incapable.

He's fallen for the long con.

The left has spend 30 years vilifying the right. Not debating ideas, but outright vilification. Eventually, enough of the leftist base becomes comfortable with political persecution. Eventually violence. We've seen this happen throughout history.

What are you even talking about?

It happens all the time.

That was just the latest entry. It has HIS appeal in there, too. Hell, even the argument in OP references HIS appeal.

No that's just evidence he's the "was physically violent for no reason" type I referenced on page 2.

He's not an innocent grandma who was led in by capitol police, or whatever motif is the popularone du jour.

How would you like them treated when they beat the crap out of each other and guards daily, can't follow their probation restrictions when out, can't show up for court dates unless they are held at the jail, and constantly undermine almost any rule that might provide order and a bit of calm to the setting?

Sounds like we need to hold our own Nuremberg trials against the prison staff and politicians that are ordering this.

Right. They make it happen when they want to make it happen. One miscarriage of justice doesn't justify another.

Are you saying every single inmate behaves this way?

If someone throws shite, that means the government can detain them without a trial indefinitely?

why does this matter? he has to sit on the hole for 2 years, be beaten by guards, and not allowed to shave or see his family? Is that his fault too?

"If an arrested subject in Louisiana files an affidavit certifying he and his counsel are ready, they can file a motion for speedy trial. That would ensure their trial begins within 120 days if they are in custody for a felony, or within 180 days if they are free from custody on a felony arrest. (Code of Criminal Procedure Article 701)

"Of course, defense attorneys would rather complain about delays than actually file the motion that would end them. They know stalling the start of a trial usually benefits their client's case more than it helps the state's, because witnesses and victims tend to have diminished recollections and interest in a case if a long wait to trial drags on for months or years."

I have said that I'm not discussing the alleged mistreatment and then if that happened it's wrong.

I'm only discussing the biased and incorrect argument made in the op regarding the delays in his trial. He is one of the people who acted violently and he engaged in a litigation strategy to delay the trial.

The government is not holding him without allowing him the opportunity for trial. He has chosen to delay his opportunity for trial for a litigation strategy attacking one of the charges.

How can they have a trial when he is disputing whether one of the charges is appropriate? I'm asking sincerely how you think you can do it. If he wins the appeal then one of the charges gets dismissed and you can only have one trial so how do you have a trial over all of the charges when he is disputing one being legal?

Nope, but many do and it makes for a poor environment for all including the guards.

Are you trying to set up a strawman? I wasn't referring to how long they are being detained in my previous post. I did subsequently take a quote from one of your links though that explains some of what goes on in Orleans.
