The activities around the Statue of Liberty this morning and in NYC Harbor were amazing. There were the Tall Ships from many nations around the world, flyovers from several air forces from around the world along with other examples of US patriotic symbolism, but guess what? I don't think any legacy news network covered any of it. I did see on CBS News Saturday Morning Show they had some Hootin Nanny quartet singing This Land Is Your Land. Wasn't that the song penned by communist folk singer Woody Guthrie?

It’s too early for me to get behind one guy, but the message Vance brought needs to be brought to every civics and American history class.

I used to think so too but Rubio has made up a lot of ground since hitting the big stage. I like Vance a lot, too, but it's unexpectedly become a tough choice.

Unfortunately they do not teach this in Jr High or High Schools anymore. I seem to think they don't teach American History because all of these interviews you see of college kids can't tell you who bombed pearl harbor, or who the US won independence from.

We’ve had presidents who all they could do was deliver a good speech. Didn’t work out so well. Rubio 2028.
