IYO, What are the top 5 core issues that make one conservative or liberal

Furthermore, I honestly felt more personal freedom living in Europe than I did here. True, I was taxed more, but I could leave my job without having to worry about insurance, I could walk home drunk from a soccer match and piss in the bushes in broad daylight without worrying about getting arrested.

The left and "conservatives" both love to use government to make choices for individuals.

A Strict Constitutionalist
Pro Life but willing to compromise and woman's Rights to her own body provided tax don't pay for her abortions.
Totally against paying people to breed ... meaning get rid of the social welfare system.
Pro Military.
Anti-Socialism in any form .... especially where it leads to big government.
Liberal Progressive:
Wants to expand government ... wants Big Brother telling us everything to do.
Believes in paying voters to breed.
Open border globalists.
Anti-Combat Ready Military ... this ALWAYS applies to liberals. They see the military as something to control the public.
Hypocrites to their core. They are mendacious, hypocritical, unrealistic. ALWAYS! They believe lying and misleading is a means to an end where they are in total power.
Pro-Union

That’s because we haven’t actually had a true conservative in the White House for a very long time. Nor a true conservative as speaker of the house or senate majority leader. When you have nontrue conservative leaders in government you can’t really see its policies and ideology come to fruition. For example in 2015 in the GOP primary of the 17 candidates only 2 were truly conservative, Cruz and Rand.
You made an excellent point how government rarely if ever shrinks, which is why any freedom or liberty no matter how small should be fought and contested.

For me, the main issue/concern is keeping the US as the dominant Superpower. Many Prog/Dims don't care about the US being the big dog militarily or in the global economy. A patriot, who loves the country looks past ideology and is concerned with preserving the sovereignty of the US. The Prog/Dims are all about ideology and if corruption is what keeps them politically relevant so be it. Most Prog/Dims want more socialism and they believe in the NWO globalist ideology. Frick'm!!
