Adjusted for inflation, there is just not a dramatic difference in current from pricing over the last 25 years (Adjusted average over last 25yrs is $3.35 - which means, excluding ridiculous outliers like Commufornia, the current national average is, at most, 20% above the adjusted average).
When the current pricing falls back to the Trump norms, that will turn to, at least, 20% below the adjusted average.

It's down in my hometown as well. The price of a gallon of gasoline now = $ 3.35. IMO a small price to pay "literally" to keep my grandsons out of a war with Islamic terrorist in Iran.

Gas is in $3.99 in Houston still and Iran is still doing whatever it wants. Trump isn’t doing shite right now
