What in the world is going on in Rhode Island

What’s up with all the sluts in Delaware?

It's an easy fix. Welfare reform. You get welfare? You do something for it. It will cut down on crime too. Can't burglarize homes or be a general pain in the arse of the law abiding public if you are working for your funds. Don't work or get in trouble? Funds cut off.
But of course the left would cry.

It's Hunter Biden's territory.

You need to think in terms of building livable wage jobs.
Once you have jobs capable of sustaining a middle class you can then do more than lock up the welfare babies when they grow up to be welfare criminals.
Since when are there no "livable wage jobs" in AMERICA? We have the strongest middle class in the world.
What you are asking without asking, is for an increase in wages for unskilled entry level minimum wage jobs. And that's the last thing we need. There's too many losers out there that think they should be able to live on the pay of an entry level job at Chipotle. No, those jobs are designed to high school and college kids to enter the job market and begin to develop skills and experience. ANd to make enough money for gas in their car and dates and such. NOT to try to feed a family.
We have those mushheads getting pregnant out of wedlock way too soon, with no experience and qualifications to win a livable wage job. If they had a two parent family environment that taught them how to mature and grow, we wouldn't have this problem. Parents are failing this society, not the lack of "livable wage" jobs.

No one made that claim.

He's referring to wage stagnation.

You have it wrong. We had a strong middle class and more traditional family units when LBJ and the democrats unleashed welfare on the country. Since then it has been slide down to where we are now.
Ending entitlements to the able bodied is the only way to reverse the trend.

Hurr Durr red states are doing this all over the country. Republicans don't take care of their kids.

Relative to what? Deindustrialized europe that has lower per capita GDP than WV?
Our middle class is in decline and has been ever since NAFTA with the only exceptions being those who are able to be invested in the market via 401k.

Not unless you consider manufacturing to be that?
What I want is more manufacturing primary jobs capable of sustaining a middle class as we had during the 1940s-1980s.
Remember when things like mills and factories sustained entire regions? I do.
Thats what our middle class was built on because by building finished goods and selling them we create secondary service jobs with the end result being we dont need to have roughly half of our working age people sitting on welfare or near welfare working at places like walmart.
Thats exactly what Trump was trying to onshore via tariffs and its the only path I can see that doesnt lead to socialism as the younger generation gives up on the promises of capitalism they dont see paying off for them currently.

entry level job at Chipotle
I dont think anyone but a store manager should be making enough money at Chipotle to sustain a family, I think you misinterpreted my statement to mean what the Bernie Sanders crew means by livable wage jobs.
Not every job is or should ever be livable wage and the menial jobs you speak of are going to be automated to a large degree anyway over the next two decades IMO and dont really factor into anything that a thriving economy would benefit from.
I will say the impact of AI married to robotics is potentially so profound that Im not sure anyone has a proposal that will prevent our entire workforce from being turned upside down.

I too would like to reduce the prevalence of welfare by forcing the people who are currently using into the workforce.
What I'm driving at is the need to push people from welfare into positions that are actually capable of sustaining a quality of life capable of supporting a nuclear family.

For purposes of this stat, I'd imagine any wife after #1 would be legally "unmarried" and could push the numbers up.

Ok, thanks for the details. I agree with you.

Look up the story about Bricks And Minifigs stealing 200K worth of Legos.
Some of the principals in the story live in American Fork and, while trying to serve them with lawsuit papers, American Fork PD repeatedly harassed and arrested them, including a SWAT raid on the complainants’s AirBnB.
