Turned in the game and immediately saw the BLM bs on the pitchers mound and turned it off. I’m not watching this shite show.

I watched the NBA yesterday and it was a welcome diversion. I think it’s stupid to deprive yourself of sports at this time.

You can’t say you’re against cancel culture then try to get people to cancel viewing sports.

Unless you’re a hypocrite.

If you're against cities being burned, people being beat in the streets, and stores being looted, you're a hypocrite.

Sounds like progressive logic...

LSU supports BLM. Who on this board is willing to quit watching LSU football?

Go back to page one directly above your first post. I've been in love with LSU football since I was 12 years old in 1982. I've had season tickets since 2001. If they go through with a season this year, I'll be selling my tickets. I will not be buying them for what would have been my 20th year of having them.

Actions have consequences, and in this case they have ruined my relationship with LSU Football. I'll miss it, but to be honest given what they've done and how they've behaved it's just not what I fell in love with anymore. If I stuck around, I'd be more akin to some battered woman who refuses to leave an abuser because "he used to love me!!!"

As for cancel culture, it's irrelevant in this situation. I'm not calling on anyone to do as I do. I have not gone on social media and declared this position, despite being "The LSU Guy" in my circle of friends and family, and I haven't even gotten in touch with LSU to tell them what I think of their actions or why I will not be renewing. I'm simply walking away because they've ruined it for me.

My drywall was hand textured. Its got all these weird ridges in the ceiling. I'm counting those ridges instead of watching pro sports.

Parscale, you are being a bit of a dumbass.

After the Saints were robbed in the NFCCG I did not watch the Super Bowl. I wasn't trying to make a statement, I just could not stomach it.

Last year my NFL viewing was basically limited to Saints' games, because that was about all the interest I had. Even then, I stopped scheduling my weekend around the game and if something else caught my interest I would walk away from the game.

Now, I am sure I won't be able to stomach the Saints games.

Do I hope the ratings go down enough for the NFL to take notice?

Yeah, I would like for them to stop this bullshite so that I can once again watch without being nauseated.

Am I going to raise hell at my friends who decide to watch? No.

Makes you a helluva lot more of a man than idolizing grown men that play kid's games for a living does.
