You know the reason. The media are corrupt AF. Those polls are heavily slanted by who they ask. Dems and 'independents' who are on the Left, mostly, and some conservatives, to give the appearance of impartiality.
The system used a DNC paid for dossier to frame Trump and got 4 FISA warrants issued off a work of fiction. That's never supposed to happen, not to you, me, and especially not the President.
They got 51 'intel experts' all to sign off on a lie that Hunter's laptops were 'tradecraft' and then the media sat on the story until after the election.
The media as well as Biden repeat the lie that Trump called Nazis "very fine people". It never happened.
But you totally buy that those polling questions are pure as the wind driven snow.

You'll see them claim they're for small government and then promote tariffs, for example.
Or claim they're against socialism while promoting tariffs as a socialist scheme.
Or, a recent trend, claim they're anti-interventionist but melt down about Iran (getting close to Bush-era neocon rhetoric).
Politics is just a sport for most people. They choose a team and have no concept of issues, or even a passing interest in them.
