Idk. For the most part I’m team Trump and I’m for this war but days like today get old.

Amen.....he is pretty predictable once you see him operate a few times.
And he is not the madman that the press depicts.

And since you can teach a master class on how he operates you can be this board's sooth sayer. You can predict how everything will play out before it happens. We should sticky a thread with all of your predictions. It will be glorious and we'll all get rich using insider trading from your predictions.

Great idea.

For the past 10-years Trump gets out a stick and pokes the media ant-bed and they immediately rage and go fricking crazy. Like a kid aggravating his brother and sisters by telling them they were adopted.
Trump got the entire world on a prong collar and he'll pull out his phone on the shitter and snap the chain and watch the chaos.
They never learn.

Idk if things always play out the way he wants. But there certainly is an art to filtering what he really means, no?

How is "wait for data" remotely controversial? It doesn't have anything to do with Trump. Apply it everywhere.

It delays a considerable amount of whining about Trump and actually decreases it when the whining is based on shite that turns out to never happen.

I would add a corollary: if a news report sounds outrageous, it probably is. Maybe do a little more research before getting upset. And definitely do more research before posting a link on a message board.

Sure.. here you go! Always sit back, observe and wait 72 hours before freaking out about anything Trump does
The "Bongino rule" is what normal, well adjusted people do for any media sensationalism. Hell, any breaking story period.
But the topic is about Trump and presumably what he says. If the media reports that he said something, sure, be skeptical. But most of the discussion about his negotiations have centered around his public statements, not media claims about his public statements. I don't have to trust the media, I can read what the man says.
It sounds like you're suggesting that Trump's statements aren't any more reliable than media "BREAKING!!!" stories and should be treated similarly. I agree.

Trump has never once said a single word about bombing Iran with a WMD nuclear bomb BUT that's not what the mainstream media was freaking out about today and guess what? TDS, Panicans and Blackpillers ran with it all over the internet and podcast world. Why? Because that's what the .mainstream media was freaking out about today.
That's why you use the Bongino rule.
