Wasn’t that the strategy so to keep casualties at a minimum?

It was literally called the “Race to Baghdad.”

General Mattis even fired one of his regimental commanders in the middle of the invasion for slowing down at Nasiryah instead of just crashing straight through the town as fast as he could.

You’re comparing oranges to tangerines.

Yeah, they look pretty similar, but they have some pretty distinct differences that differentiate the two.

The strategies were not the same, baw.

Howeverrrrrr, I do agree with you that the media is spinning it to be better than it is. That is their thing. If we were favoring the attacking side our media would likely be touting “how swift our forces have been able to reach the outskirts of the capital” and that “collapse is imminent”.

frick the media. Pravda arse bitches

But most importantly, frick Russia.

We also had to project our Military half a world away

Kiev is 50 miles from the border, Baghdad is 250 miles from the border

Russia is severely underperforming and just all around fricking up. They look like a bunch of idiots

No it wasn’t. We blitzed them after wiping out everything by air first

The air campaign started concurrently with the ground invasion in 2003.

But we had been enforcing the No Fly-Zone since the end of Gulf War 1

The whole time this is going I keep thinking how screwed we would be if this happened here in the USA and we were totally dependent on alternative energy and no fossil fuels like the Biden administration wants us to be. All they would need would be an EMP weapon to totally disable all of us and we would be fricked.

How many days (weeks) of air attacks prior

Bombing started March 17, 2003. Ground forces left Kuwait on March 19. Baghdad fell on April 9.

Iraq also wasn't a unified country. It's always been Shia v Sunni v Kurd v everyone else.

Iraq had a huge military with lots of Soviet supplied weapons. The thought at the time was we may have bitten off more than we could chew. They had armor, air power and trained troops.
We destroyed 3300 tanks and 2200 pieces of artillery. Does Ukraine have anything like that?

US and UK forces numbered less than 250,000 troops, defeated an army of 1.3 million troops.

Russian is bring similar number of troops as we had in Iraq, but Ukraine's army only has 350K troops

Apples & Oranges, but let's entertain the two for now:

Iraq War 2 should have been the 3-week cakewalk it was.

The Pentagram leaped into action far ahead of its invasion. Thousands of its finest war hawks orchestrated and fine-tuned its battle logistics 24/7 for several months; drilled and uber-prepared the world's finest warriors; backed by trillions in hi-tech tactical weaponry and communications.

Western Propaganda outlets are just that; IF this "Invasion" is serious and not fluff, Russia is just slow-walking it. UNTIL IT DOESN'T.

There's some weird shite going on. It seems like theater for some globalist bank reset of the world economy. If Europe/NATO gets dragged into this conflict, and sanctions start flying left and right all over the place; then it's almost certainly an OP to establish digital ID and currency.

You're onto something. Especially now that the Covid "Pandemic" card is all played out.

The timing of this Russia-Ukraine "war" is conveniently suspect -- as was Biden's reaction.

It does work as more Globalist Theater, thinly veiled as "shiny-key" bait and distraction for helping re-capture the attention of people (who've now suddenly forgotten all about Hitlery-Gate, Hyper-Inflation, CRASHING THE DOLLAR, and our OWN ongoing Invasion). So IS it setting up major imminent WEF / RESET chess pieces (like digital ID and one-world currency)?
