Maybe you are. What the frick does it matter? Some of you people are ridiculous. I'm entitled to my opinions just the same as you are. I don't understand the repeated attempts to derail this thread from a few of you simply because I stated my opinion.

You act as if it's your job to counter it or something. And not only counter it, but to be sneering douchebags in the process. Like you're fricking children or something.

It’s true. But most on here are more interested in making people melt than electing a competent leader. It’s all about the lulz.

Based on what exactly? Your personal feelings? Do you mean "competent executive"? Because if so, that's different.

So if I disagree with you on an online message board I am a pedophile? lmfao I have seen this tactic used before except usually by dems

I don't think Desantis will be able to create nearly the same sort of DEM response as Trump. We saw in 2020 that the hatred of Trump thwarted his historic vote gains. I don't think the DEMs can sell RDS (especially prior to being in office without the data to use) as the same sort of threat/bad man as Trump.

If things don't change wildly from the end of this year to 2022, the DEMs are going to have a hard time winning. They likely won't be able to use the incumbent so the biggest issue for the GOP is DEM turnout. RDS is almost assuredly going to lead to decreased DEM turnout.

That's why I think he's the better candidate

Very thoughtful, and I can't necessarily disagree.

Ron would get crushed in a general election, that’s why they are still attacking Trump. He’s the real threat.

Ironically, the senile old pervert they fraudulently installed into the White House is:

I agree with the OP though.

I'll admit, like you, that I want Trump. He did a fantastic job, was robbed in the biggest way for the whole world to see, and fully deserves his rightfully earned second chance to finish what he started.

However, if for whatever reason Ron does get the nod, I'll vote for him. It's pretty simple. I just truly believe that Ron is more valuable as governor of FL all the way through his second term, and then making a WH run in 2028. Ron is more powerful as a state governor than he'll ever be as a president that's beholden to the dysfunction and gridlock of the US Congress.

These posers would probably just as soon forget that this happened. It doesn't jive with their delusion that Biden received 81 million votes.

I prefer DeSantis, but I'm not going to get worked up against Trump supporters. Either is vastly superior to the current joke.

Agreed and most DeSantis people are similar

Which is why the 10 daily threads talking about the DeSantis conspiracy is stupid and will drive the "divide" much more than some MSM plot will.

Which might be the point, I think some of these guys are intentionally trying to start this war to dissuade what they see as a major threat to Trump.

Yep, people will vote against getting back on track just to spite Trump. That's especially true if they are given 6 weeks to harvest votes and dump God knows what into dropboxes.

You’re right. We should all set aside our differences and support DeSantis.

Wrong, we should commit to 100% supporting whichever of the two receive the nomination.

BUT, at the moment, I'll take DeSantis at his WORD that he won't run if Trump runs. That's called RESPECT.

The people saying he's running are not trying to gin up anything but discourse for benefit of the Democrats.

I personally think DeSantis and Trump are on a daily phone call laughing their asses off at the troll job they’re pulling off on the dumbass media.
