Is there some situational irony in this new Russian lab leak story?

One of the main pieces of conspiratorial propaganda Russia pushed (via online content creators) to justify their invasion of Ukraine in 2022 was the "Ukraine Biological Weapon" conspiracy, common referred to as "much Bio Labs," when, in reality, those were normal labs with Western oversight for security purposes. That's why you see the conflation between "bio labs" and "biological weapons" in people still trying to promote the silliness.
Fast forward a few years, and Russia, who has minimal, if any, Western oversight, may have accidentally released a biological weapon due to security breaches at one of their bio labs.
This actually makes me think a form of "they" exist, and "they" are laughing "their" asses off at this scheme.

That's a silly statement. This particular case involves a specific woman whose face we have all seen who reportedly dropped a sample. She died at the local hospital. Other identified people were exposed and quarantined. This situation is based upon actual names, faces, dates, location, and the use of nouns.
Tell me the names, dates, specific circumstances and events of the Covid origin story?
There is a material difference here.

It's more funny and ironic because the same people saying it was a lab leak ridiculed and called people a conspiracy nut job about the China Virus lab leak. No one actually cares about this homoviewpoint.

Yep. This thread is already shaping up like a who's who list of people who denied the COVID lab leak theory when it was blatantly obvious to everyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together that's exactly what happened.

There was a viral research center in Wuhan. That viral research center in Wuhan performed gain of function research. A genetically modified virus originated in Wuhan.
Everyone called a conspiracy theorist was proven to actually be able to do extremely simple deduction.
What is hilarious about this is people are going to be pissed at Russia for research on this but still hold Fauci as a God when he was neck deep in viral gain of function research.

What is the actual verifiable claim here? Russian local officials certainly contradicted federal health watchdogs, but that happens quite frequently in that particular bureaucratic autocracy.
Are you trying to claim an intentional bioweapons leak, or just standard Russian administrative incompetence?

I think he's just pointing out the irony of Russia taking advantage of biowarfare rumors/propaganda and are now on the butt end of same (and probably a real outbreak of some kind).

A lot of pronouns and generalities in that statement. There is the noun, "Wuhan," but nothing else. No names, dates, facts of outside exposure, etc.
If you are "wondering" why the Russia story is accepted (you are not actually wondering-you just pretend to be), it is the specificity of the facts, the names, faces, dates and locations. This exposure and release is not a theory.
And that isn't even what the thread should be about. It is about Russian propaganda and the acceptance by those who want to believe Russian propaganda (bio labs in Ukraine) despite the absence of specific facts and proof. The irony is that nothing ever leaked from any phantom bio lab in Ukraine but there is an actual leak of an actual pathogen from an actual lab in Russia. That is the point.

Dude it's over. It's done. It's settled. Covid 19 came from the Wuhan Lab... like what you people called "conspiracy theorists" told you from the word go.

oh the dripping irony of being lectured on propaganda and acceptance of it by someone making excuses on why people were hesitant to believe the Wuhan lab leak claims. We know Russia is going to lie about it. We know they will continue to lie about it. No duh. But your party of preference is STILL running cover for Fauci when his propaganda and lies have been brought to the light. Well.. along with his proven fame seeking and money grabbing for personal gain.
And to this point... it's Fauci and his minions that are partially responsible for the only worldwide respiratory pandemic since the invention of residential air conditioning.
And here you people will be, mad at Russia, and make excuses for Fauci and his minions.
