Actually this was a time where all of the country was on the same page, in fact the whole world was behind us and supported us. It was an opportunity to bring everyone everywhere together but dammit Dubya put an end to that and it was back to business as usual.
This is incorrect. W, and the years after 9/11, brought everyone so damn together we ended up with a black muslim President a few years later. That’s when the division began.

You don’t look good in that shade of red, potato head.

Depends on the circumstances. Some protests have been effective, e.g. civil rights movement. Anti-Vietnam War protests, etc., whether you agreed with them or not…

This is incorrect. He screwed things up so bad even the republicans wanted him gone. Obama inherited a hell of a mess and a tough decision, risk a depression or bail the banks out, lose lose situation.
He did a good job of stabilizing the economy but he’ll be remembered for a racial divide.

Were you outraged about Ashli Babbit getting shot?

Yeah, downvoting.
At least you have to put down the potato chips and get off the couch to protest.

Someone I worked with about 10-12 years ago was already shaking their head at "protesters" then and how little effort it took to have a cause. This person was involved with some of the real protesting in the 60s and 70s and said that the kids today didn't know what it was really like.

to get the Vice President to overturn the election.
Is that what Don Lemon told you the J6 folks were trying to do?

people here who stormed the Capitol trying to get the Vice President to overturn the election.
but they had a specific purpose in mind - and they were right.
The 'insurrection' descriptor is erroneous - they were actually doing what the constitution provides for = supporting the challenge to electors, something the democrats do after every election won by GOP.
The crowd was infiltrated by over 700 FBI 'special agents' who were the ones stoking any 'insurrection' action.
Capital guards opened the door for them - some even escorted them around = no "violence"
Until the FBI special agents stoked it.
And don't forget - the election WAS fraudulent - anyone thinks it was carried out honestly and secure is just wrong.
There was only one MURDER than day - Ashley Babbit - and the murderer got a 'distinguished service' medal from auto-pen.

Like the Jan 6 protestors? Yeah, there are things more lame.

The J6 protesters were doing it right - until the FBI agitators started riling up the crowd and taking down the barriers.
They were there to "petition the government for redress of their grievance."
Quite unlike an "peaceful protests" by democrats who are there to prevent the execution of the immigration laws of the nation. Democrat 'protests' are nothing more than ugly mobs.

Idk ask the people here who stormed the Capitol trying to get the Vice President to overturn the election.
1) I would never do it, but January 6th was at least a legitimate gripe that you regressives stated "didn't happen" yet daily is shown to be truth.
2) Protesting in DC is a little bit different than 20 losers in Baton Rouge at the Essen and Perkins intersection, protesting against ICE, who has arrested illegals in Louisiana without incident over a month ago.
3) J6 = organic, every leftist cause = constructed and often paid. There is difference. In fact, nothing about your chosen party is organic. It's a house of cards built on lies and willful stupidity.
