If Iran says they have 2000 more missiles, they definitely don't have 2000 more missiles.
Seems as if they might have deployed them by now if they did
The best tactic for defeating the iron dome seems to be to overwhelm it with as many simultaneous strikes as possible
They're probably running low like you said

Israel shouldn’t have attacked Iran if they didn’t want any smoke.

Why do you keep posting tweets from these pro-Iran accounts? I get that you might not like Israel or support U.S. involvement in this conflict, but does that mean you have to be pro-Iran?

The majority of Iranaian missiles were destroyed.

I hate uneducated posts like this complaining about the Iron Domes effectiveness.
What was it designed to prevent?
***Short-range rockets and artillery shells!
What was already known as exceeding the design protections?
•••Longer-range missiles (ballistic).
These are supposed to be handled by Israeli defense systems like Arrow and David's Sling.
What is already known as difficult for them iron Dome to handle alone?
***Saturation attacks-coordinated barrage of missiles can overload the Iron Dome, as it can only target a limited number of threats at once.
•••Missile design:
Some missiles may be designed with trajectories or countermeasures that make them more difficult to intercept,

I figured this is how this war will progress. Who runs out of ordinance first - Israel and the iron dome or Iran and their ballistic and hypersonic missiles. As one of these countries runs out, they will have to adjust tactics. Israel has been bombarding Iran and from what we hear is developing air superiority over Iran. If that is true, then they can change their targeting almost at will. I think they may have hoped to have done more damage to Iran’s missile capability prior to the draining of iron dome resources, but that may not have happened. This is war, things go well and they go bad. How these countries react and adjust and who does it better will win. Bottom line is many many people will be killed.
Congress and US MIC will see to that not being Israel. Iran is in trouble because their benefactors have their hands tied.

Why does this board hate questions. I didn’t infer anything or make any veiled political comment. There are a number of people on here who seem pretty well informed when it comes to military equipment matters and topics like air defense systems. The QUESTION was whether key components of the dome had been damaged to the point that its effectiveness had Israel was in a perilous situation

Israel has little to nothing to stop ballistic - and absolutely nothing at all that can stop hypersonic missiles. Apparently Iran is being supplied by the Russians
Not sure, but there was a video shot that seemed to show a much faster traveling Iranian missile just last night in Israel. Don't know what it was but it was wicked fast and hit strong.
Incredibly fast - like a factor of 10-20X faster than conventional - apparently ballistic
The danger is in the payload delivered by THOSE
and hypersonic - faster still?

That's a bullshite Xweet. The US and UK have been helping since the retaliation started. We helped the past two times Iran lobbed missiles and drones towards Israel.

Correct. They would be in much worse shape if we hadn't been.

Didn't Iran fund and Coordinate Oct. 7th?
I don't really have a dog in the fight, but it's not like Iran is some completely innocent shrinking violet just standing helpless and the desert where Israel kicks off an operation and they just happen to have 800 missiles ready to fire into civilian areas.
I don't want this to escalate but Iran has been Saber ratting for decades

Maybe worry less about the non perfection of a defense system and more on those who are sending the rockets in the 1st place.
If Trump is on Israel’s side then they will side with Iran.

He's basically a dipshit. He's looking for clicks. Nothing more. If he thought that he would get more clicks by posting pro Israeli sources, then he's repost THOSE twitter posts.
But you are right, he's absolutely gleeful that the Iron Dome isn't 100% perfect.

That’s great but right now Iranian targeting seems to be so compromised that they can only do area targeting thus attacking population centers. Israel can just about have ballistics knock on the door of the senior leader they’re assassinating.
Iran’s response has been anemic and poorly packaged. The only reason they’re causing any problems is that they’ve given up on hitting targets of military significance and just launching sorties into population centers.
