Seems like they have all the hubris in the world but not much in the way of results. More often then not, seems their puppet regimes end up being enemies

Yes. They were built to undermine and pick away at the foundations of governments and that's what they're now doing to our's.

But the Benjamins flow to crackhead sons and whore wives of the Election thieves and crooked operatives from two administrations ago.

There really seemed to be no real interest whether someone was enemy or friend

and as already mentioned they have turned on THIS COUNTRY and seek its destruction.

At least 51 of them need to hang from trees

just like farmers and slaughterhouses are the enemies of docile go-along-to-get-along cows

We are livestock to them.

Absolutely, along with the FBI, NSA, and the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the federal government.

Yes. They have spent the last 70 years undermining and overthrowing governments around the world. Why wouldn’t they do the same to ours?

Our government is the enemy of the people. They are taking us in a direction that most of the nation doesn’t want to go. They know this, yet they proceed anyway. They are no longer representing us and our interests.

OSS was originally a war time organization with a valid purpose of killing Nazis but FedGov allowed it to expand its role post-WW2. That was a mistake because it’s been nothing but making enemies and overthrowing governments that won’t play ball since. Not that we didn’t stage coups before though.
The older I get the more I realize how corrupt our world is as a whole and there is no hope for change because the system is so deep

They always have been. They started mindfricking us with things like mkultra from the moment they were founded.

Yes, but I also can’t imagine it being as effective and well-organized under the current administration as it has been in the past.

“Since its creation in 1947, the CIA has been a byword for everything that is sinister and ruthless about America's projection of power during the Cold War and with the 'war on terror'. There have been few major political events around the world in which the hidden hand of the Agency has not been seen. In countless movies and books, the CIA has been shown as decisive, brilliant and in control of its own secret world: the image of omnipotence. But this is an illusion. In reality, the CIA has been incompetent, naive, chaotic, and a danger to American interests for sixty years.LEGACY OF ASHES is both a horrifying and a richly enjoyable book. Tim Weiner's immense research reveals a startlingly consistent level of failure. The general dismay at the CIA's failure to see the fall of the Soviet Union, the end of the Cold War, the invasion of Kuwait, the events of 9/11, its wholly false assessment of Saddam's WMD and its role in the 'rendition' of innocent suspects implies that it has fallen from some bygone golden age. LEGACY OF ASHES makes clear that the CIA has always been a blundering, ruinously incapable organization, with each decade providing its own low points. LEGACY OF ASHES is as gripping and powerful a narrative as its fictional movie counterparts, but the story it has to tell is a lot less comforting.“

And that’s not even getting into what they’ve been doing the past several years.

They’re still running coups around the world, one of which (Ukraine) may cook off a world war, but they’re turning inward again and running coups of our own government in addition to foreign governments.

This. At least the current form of our Government, of the which the CIA is a derivative. The Intelligentsia/Ruling Elites have gone Transnational Progressive; it had to happen as the idealist appeal of a Capitalist, Individualist, Merit-based model via "God-given Rights" vs the Egalitarian Fascist, coerced 'cooperation' (as opposed to competition) ideology won out in Academia over Constitutional Principle and little by little took over the Government (Deep State).

Christianity plays a tangential role as well, as success inspires good people to be charitable per Jesus' admonitions and 'qualifiers' for heavenly (next life) prosperity.

This 'perfect storm' was inevitable in the evolutionary process. We'll take our arse kicking, collect the evidence therein, perfect our strategies accordingly, and move on up to the next level.

If the Universe is Spirit-based, we're good. If it's not, then our evolutionary sojourn from simple to complex is like a Roman Candle in the night sky, pretty, but meaningless as it's gone forever.

The CIA is 'listening' to our chatter as we type. We'll see if they are able to impose their "Animal Farm" version of governance on Humanity, or it all falls apart because of the massive complexity and vulnerability therein. And the innate character of the Human Spirit to be FREE.

Any true American, regardless of when they existed, does not trust government. That is as true today as it was when we were founded, even more so today though because we are witnessing the truths of an all powerful federal government that our founders were very wary of.

That being said, absolutely. The CIA, and the FBI for that matter, are very dangerous institutions if for no other reason than the power that they wield in a country as powerful as this, and with a political party and ideology as unscrupulous as this one in power is. They are very dangerous tools in the hands of really bad men and women in power, and we are seeing that right now in how they’ve been used to go after the political opposition to the Democrats in charge.

The cia doesn't answer to any administration. They killed Kennedy because he was trying to shut them down. The president is below the CIA in the power hierarchy not the other way around.

Yep, sadly so, O. Create a 'bad dog' to do a good job (guard the family), and that dog has a mind of it's own, and can become focused on it's OWN survival and prosperity.
