His views on Christianity are very concerning. He has rejected the truth of God’s word and has embraced a version that better fits his ideas of love and inclusion without judgement of sin.

What is this? So based = gay, now. But what difference does it make? He's gonna win, easily-- esp. if Texan Republicans are stupid enough to nominate Paxton over Cornyn, which they are.

I’m so tired of seeing this, people quote this all the time as if it is some universal Commandment for every situation? It’s another example of people quoting the Bible completely out of context and not understanding what the Bible teaches. Christians are commanded to judge other Christians or at least people who claim to be Christian call them out and even excommunicate them.

Here are some other statements from Jesus:
"Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment." - John 7:24
“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector." -Matt. 18:15-17
"Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more." -John 8:11
"Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, 4 and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”" -Luke 17:3-4
There are many more passages where Jesus taught people to repent and obey.
Then there's the Apostle Paul, who in the Scriptures, provides several commands to turn from sin (speaking to the church), and for the church to judge sin among its members.
1 Corinthians 5:12–13 specifically calls Christians to judge those inside the church.
2 Thessalonians 3:6,14–15, there is a command for Christians to withdraw from those walking in disobedience.
Ephesians 5:11 says that Christians are to expose sin.
Titus 1:13 is a command to Titus to rebuke Christians so that they would have better understanding
2 Timothy 4:2 teaches again that we are to rebuke and correct.
There is so many more examples, but I think this gets to the point: your understanding of Jesus' words is incorrect.

That is the most perfectly wrong prediction I've read in 50+ years of following politics (I started young). How much more wrong could you be? Zero percent.

I've heard many liberals say that Jesus didn't teach against homosexuality, and since I've said this a few times lately, I'll say it again: Jesus logically taught that homosexuality is sinful. Here is the logic:
Premise 1: Jesus affirmed that marriage is the union of one man and one woman. (Matthew 19:4–6; Mark 10:6–9)
Premise 2: Jesus taught that sexual desire outside of marriage is sinful (lust). (Matthew 5:27–28)
Premise 3: Sexual activity and sexual desire are only morally permitted within the marriage relationship.
Premise 4: Homosexual desire or behavior necessarily occurs outside the marriage relationship defined by Jesus (because it is not between a man and a woman).
Conclusion: Therefore, according to Jesus’ teaching, homosexual sexual desire and behavior are sinful.
