By the time the 2016 election was over, it’s estimated the Clinton presidential campaign spent over a billion dollars. She was lazy as frick on the campaign trail and assumed all she had to do was outspend Trump to win... Now look at Bloomberg’s strategy. He’s pledged to spend over a billion dollars of his own money to defeat Trump, already dropping over 300 million on ads with the election still 8 months out. However, I can’t say that I’ve seen him anywhere on the campaign trail. His ads are everywhere, but not him. Is he setting himself for the same fatal mistake by thinking he doesn’t have to show up in a place like Wisconsin or Michigan, and can instead just blanket a state with ads?

Hillary actually had a certain amount of widespread appeal.

Bloomberg’s problem right now is the field is too big. As it dwindles we’ll see if he has a shot.

Liberals aren’t rallying around a faux moderate

Get what done? He’s seems willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on ads but he’s not willing to debate anyone or even get out and campaign.

That’s a cop out. Trump went toe to toe with 17 experienced repubs from day one and battled it out to elevate himself to the front of the pack. The Democratic field isn’t too big. Bloomberg is just lazy

One other thing. The Democratic convention is in mid July. If Bloomberg waits until July or August after he secures the nomination to begin campaigning in states like Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida, he’s going to get destroyed.

Well, he did just basically call the backbone of our country deplorables. I have democrat family members (whose father was a hard working farmer) calling Bloomberg out, and vowing to never vote for him.

Bloomberg will drop out by April Fool’s Day - you can’t survive these racist clips as a Dem.

He is in the race to create chaos and block Bernie. I am almost certain the plan is to get this to a contested convention in Milwaukee.

I think this is all true. And the DNC is more than happy to use him to this end because he’s dropping hundreds of millions, whereas they’re broke.

Amen. This is his biggest problem and he's not even trying to hide it. He is an a-hole and has contempt for most people, contempt he shows every time he opens his mouth.

Honestly he is probably doing what needs to be done right now. His personality is so off putting he needs to minimize his live appearances. At the end of the day I don’t think it matters. He is borderline unelectable because he is such a dud in person. Throw in the recent video and audio clips and he has no chance.
