Oil tankers, or fuel trucks? They smuggling out oil or refined fuel products?
Posted on 10/4/26 at 11:04 am to Jbird
Let them yowl...Give CNN and MSnuts something to sensationalize to the anti Trump crowd....Historically there has always been a Black Market flow of oil into Pakistan. Seems like the BOTs onTigerdroppings won't do thee research but need someone to spoon-feed them on what to believe.

Again a minimal amount.

Nah. Transporting liquids by truck is not efficient at all, even with American road systems and great logistical support and doing it without worrying about getting blown up.
Not saying that it might not be worth interdicting. I just dont see where they could effectively move their economic needle via trucking even if they did have a gazillion trucks to do it.

Will post link on next time...No dreaming it up as I have seen it on multiple reports.
I have as well. Iraq didn’t obtain Iranian crude via magic. To my knowledge, there are no Iran Iraq pipelines. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe there are any.
Hence, tanker truck or maritime and we all know how that went.

sometimes common sense just goes out the window.
Okay lets review...for decades they have invested in supertankers to haul their cargo by water, its cut off so....................................................................................................................................suddenly they shat 20,000 tankers and start shipping by land. WTF whould they have 20,000 empty tankers sitting around for decades??????

Seen reports? Get off Iran national news and ticky toc and get better news. It is not feasible to truck it anywhere outside of Iran. Who is going to pay for it as they aren’t driving it to India or China

Im sure russian and chineese tanker trailers are plentiful in that part of the world.

They have to spend diesel fuel they can't make or import to haul out the oil. Let them truck away.

Seems like they would use rail.
Rail bridges near borders should have been destroyed when the blockade was enacted.
Then do bridges near major border crossing to stop trucks shipping military gear from China.
Seems like basic stuff only requiring a few tomahawks. This half-assed strategy is the only reason the IRGC is still able to remain propped up.

quote:Some oil is getting out to Tajikistan -though not a lot Oilprice.com
Tajikistan announced that it is now receiving oil and petroleum products from Iran, opening a potential new energy source for a country whose fuel supplies have long been dominated by Russia.
The deliveries began in late August, Tajikistan's Energy and Water Resources Ministry told the Asia-Plus news agency, following talks between the two countries on expanding cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
The ministry has not disclosed the volume of the shipments, their commercial terms, or how the oil and petroleum products were transported to Tajikistan
The move also raises questions about potential US secondary sanctions for doing business with Iran, particularly as Washington has stepped up pressure on Tehran's oil revenues.
US Treasury spokeswoman Gigi O'Connell said the department would not comment on specific allegations of sanctions violations but warned that Iran's petroleum and petrochemical sectors are subject to increased sanctions risk.
"Anyone operating in that sector incurs that risk themselves should they continue to choose to do so," O'Connell said in an e-mailed response to RFE/RL.
Tajikistan has asked Iran to supply up to 2.55 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products annually, including gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. But that figure represents a requested or potential volume rather than the amount currently being delivered.

Iranian Oil Exports by tanker truck
The closest I can find is this, and it relates to goods of all kinds:

Hundreds of trucks jam Turkey-Iran border crossing as US blockade pushes trade overland
by SERRA YEDIKARDES and AMIR-HUSSEIN RADJY
September 24, 2026
GURBULAK BORDER CROSSING, Turkey (AP) — Hundreds of trucks idle along the road into Iran from Turkey's mountainous eastern border. Bustling even in normal times, the countries' largest crossing is now a make-or-break economic lifeline for Tehran as the U.S. navy blockades its ports.
...
It's the latest test of Iran's endurance. Frustrated Iranian truck drivers spoke to The Associated Press at the Turkey border crossing, where lines now stretch for miles.
"I've been driving through this border gate for 15 years. I've never had to wait as long as now," said Muhammed Riza Shiri, 55, who had waited four days to carry his load of rubber into Iran. "We had to wait at the end of a seven-kilometer (4.3-mile) line. We used to wait, maximum, for three days here. Because of the war, the waiting times exceed five days."
Iran accuses the U.S. of trying to weaken the country.
"They are trying to create difficulties wherever they can, and they are holding nothing back. They are closing off routes, shutting down air routes, blocking land routes and trying to fuel internal divisions," President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tuesday.
...
"Instead of 200 trucks, there are 1,200 trucks at the border, and the destination country does not have the capacity to accept this number of trucks," Amir Roshanbakhsh Ghanbari, deputy head for a government agency that promotes Iranian trade, said in an interview with a semiofficial news outlet, ILNA.
...
"I make half of what I used to make because of this," he said. Fuel prices for his truck have risen by 25% in Iran since his last trip, he added.
"Some Turkish drivers can bribe and get ahead of the line. Our money is worth nothing here. We can't do that," Sadigi said.
Drivers said the customs line is even longer on the Iranian side, with wait times in the past month ranging from 12 to 25 days. Many blamed longer inspections by Turkish authorities of trucks leaving Iran.
Akbar Yahyai, an Iranian truck driver who said his loads vary from machinery parts to chemical components, said he had been waiting four days.
"It's a shame for us drivers here. There is no toilet or shower we can use here while waiting. You can see it from how we look and smell," he said, adding that he barely makes enough money to eat.

There was another thread on here a few days ago looking for the link you need...go find it.

Gotcha, so chini and russia have a spare 20,000 tankers they paid for and let sit around for 20 years just in case.
You do realize cargo trucks are backed up for 20 days trying to get in and out of iran right now at the borders. Not just a logistical nightmare, but many of the companies and countries are afraid Bessent will blacklist their arse.
Lastly chini and The Motherland aint doing squat unless they are paid and iran has no money.

They did, but they left the piers because they knew it would take a decade to rebuild them as it did during the iran/iraq war.
Delicate balance to squeeze them but not starve 90 million people.
Let the roux cook. When cutting off funding its cutting off the getaway cash to those in power thats why they are screaming to release the funds, they dont give a shat about the people, they want their personal cash they have stolen.

We are already doing it and the Chinese aren’t doing shite about it. Stopping Iranian tankers is a direct provocation towards China.
Not really. It's a specific commodity in a single direction and China only gets a small portion of their oil from Iran because smart countries diversify their import/sources. I think it's around 10% of what they buy. Something like that.
China shares a border with Russia, so they have direct pipelines with them. And they buy from basically all the other ME countries as well - of which they can easily make up the difference with. Saudi Arabia is a big one.
The problem with Saudi Arabia is their pipeline from the east to west coast isn't big enough to handle the extra demand, so they still have to go through the strait. They can probably mark those with Iran if they really want and get them through though. Otherwise they may be upset with Iran etc.
Because China does buy 80-90% of Iran's oil, so Iran wouldn't want to upset them.
I'm guessing many other goods other than oil come through the other routes, many of them coming from China to Iran.

Tajikstan. First logistically they cant get it there.
Second, its an exaggerated number.
Third, even if the number is true, thats approximately 2.6% of irans usual export volume per day.

No one gives a frick.
We are at WAR with this piece of shite Muslim country.
All is fair in WAR. The object is to bring them to their knees and kill as many supporting the regime as possible.
The weak liberal woke mind virus that many of the idiots that live in our country are afflicted with is not even a consideration. The objective is to destroy them by any means necessary.
I don't care how or what they do to achieve that objective.

If tanker trucks is all they have left, this is concrete proof that the good guys have won.
